When Rhi, Kez, Sez, Low and Sair37 were the only girls on the forum, and all of them just wanted to talk football.

I remember when it was f2s.bootroom.net or something like that. Bob K was a frequent contributor, as was Rushian, Ben was ERP and Loki was the most aptly named member of staff. Steve C had yet to break the women's hearts by running off with the love of his life, Gareth hadn't yet become an astronaut and I was the annoyingly precocious 14 year old that churned out articles at a rate of at least a couple a month.

A long, long time ago. A lot has happened since then but the people I have met as a result of this website have made a not insignificant contribution to the person I am now. Some good; some really not.

Should I buy Phil a burger?

There's a name from the past!!

Still miss him. One of my greatest regrets is that we had an argument about something before he disappeared. I can't even remember what it was about. I said something that I really didn't mean but because he took off so soon after, I've never had the opportunity to say sorry. He was one of the nicest people I've ever met; I really hope he's OK wherever he is.
