We’ve got 94 points so far.

There needs to be an incredible send off for the boys in red whatever happens on the south coast.

Let’s sing our hearts out again for these mighty mighty reds.

One of the greatest football teams to ever grace this league.
“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
“Generosity always pays off. Generosity in your effort, in your work, in your kindness, in the way you look after people and take care of people. In the long run, if you are generous with a heart, and with humanity, it always pays off.”

I'd happily see Moreno at left-back.  I don't think it's likely but he would be a good attacking option and it would be nice to send him off properly.  I know football is no place for sentimentality and he's hardly going to be remembered as a club legend but he's always given it his all and (mostly) accepted being a bit-part player well.

I'm pretty sure all the players will be desperate to feature in our final home game of the year. It's also absolutely vital that we get the 3 points, which means we are going with the strongest team we have. If Robbo is fit then he'll be playing. If Milner is fit then he's backup. I'd say even Gomez is more likely to appear at LB than Moreno.

So far the major injury concerns ahead of the game are Robbo, Hendo, Ox and Firmino. Keita, sadly, will obviously miss the game, and I would say be out for the final too. Both Robbo and Hendo are running of knocks, rather than muscular issues and as long as there wasn't too much damage then they'll probably be all good in a day or two and little risk for the game. Both Firmino and Ox appear to have muscular issues which probably pose a risk in terms of aggravating things and then missing the CL final.

Just win. I don't care how. It's all we can do and hope Brighton pull off a miracle. If not, it's been a fantastic league campaign and the biggest prize of all awaits us not long after this.

Salah will be back, Firmino unlikely. Robertson had a scan today but no news yet, he's not ruled out of the Wolves match though. Ox might be available.

Moreno hasn't played for what, 4 months? I can't see him playing any part in this game if Robbo isn't fit. You'd expect Milner, or maybe even Gomez.

Anyway please just win and let's see what happens. Main thing for us (and the crowd) is not to focus too much on the City game. Let's just do our own job first, then we can see.

Great Op
Just win this game. Think we look will see something like how we lineup at Newcastle
Alisson
Trent-Matip-Virgil-Roberton(probably Milner if Robertson cant go)
Fabinho-Gini
Hendo-Mane-Origi
Salah
Maybe Sturridge over Origi but not sure.

If we drew 4-4 and something mad happened in Brighton and they won 4-0, the league would have to be decided in a play-off match. Not gonna happen, but it shows just how close this title race has been that it is statistically possible.

P.s. Nice OP, Hellrazor.

The pressure will be on City to win. Brighton were very unlucky against Tottenham and played really well against Arsenal at the weekend and deserved their draw.

Brighton aren't going to be relegated and they're expected to get a hiding off City in this game. Please Lord just one more miracle

This is not a dead rubber though and still a must win. Unlikely, Klopp gives Moreno that. Of course he can do a lap after the game.

Let's just go out and make sure we get the win and finish on 97 points.

I'd hate to think how we'll feel if City do drop points and we don't take advantage of it

B E L I E V E!! Full focus for the final home game of the season, if we treat this like Barca home, with the same aggression, discipline, passion and respect we will overcome them in the first half. Then we can hope for late Brighton equaliser :D We will probably do it the hard way Again :D

Brighton getting a draw at home to City actually isn't a miracle. A frustrating 0-0 or even a 1-1 wouldn't blow my mind. Not as if we need Brighton to batter them 6-0 or anything.

A mate of mine is a Wolves fan and ST holder and he believes that they will at least be playing their 3rd choice goalie, and perhaps a few others who Nuno wants to judge whether to keep a hold of for next season.

Come on Redmen!!
I suspect Robbo will be back from what I have read and also Salah. So Salah, Mane and Divock up front. Wijnaldum, Fabinho and Milner midfield and Trent, Matip, VVD and Robbo the team I expect.
We will be able to take momentum into this and an early couple of goals should mean Wolves don't bother too hard as 7th is already theirs.
Who knows what will go down at Brighton - but at least it won't feel so gutting if City win after Tuesday.
Believe, another impossible scenario may unfold??

Trying to think of this in reverse and if we knew we had to beat Brighton away for the title I would have no doubt in my mind we'd do it....apart from the obvious nerves

Its a longshot

But there's always a chance....
Gotta just do our job first.

Sunday isn't going to be straightforward, even if both us and City win I think there'll be a lot of swapping between first and second place over the 90 minutes.

The lesson of the win against Barcelona is that if this team believes, anything is possible. And a roaring and heaving Anfield is vitally important to help them reach the uttermost limits of that belief. If the Champions League is important enough to cheer and sing and raise the rafters of Anfield for, what more the Premier League that we havent won for 29 years?

Sunday isn't going to be straightforward, even if both us and City win I think there'll be a lot of swapping between first and second place over the 90 minutes.

If there's going to be lots of swapping of places I'm assuming you are envisaging Brighton scoring or Brighton keeping it 0-0 and our game being a goal fest?

Personally I think our best chance is if Brighton can hold out for a 0-0 and us getting the win we require. With our game being on the back of a CL semi, in the middle of an injury crisis and against a decent team in Wolves I don't see it as being an easy victory for us either.

Wouldn't be surprised if our team is something like:

Alisson

Gomez
Lovren
VvD
TAA

Fabinho
Wijnaldum
Milner

Mane
Origi
Salah

Bench: Mignolet, Moreno, Matip, AOC, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Brewster

That's assuming Robertson, Firmino, Henderson are all out inured and Salah has successfully gone through the concussion protocol and is able to return
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.
