If that is an arithmetic sequence the next away game will be 9-1 (ie. add +1, then +2, then +3 to our score)

If it's a geometric sequence it'll be 10-1 (ie. add 1, then add 2, then add 4...)

Newcastle must be shitting themselves ;D

Watford should be 1-13 then  ;D

We are so so good :)

I mean just look at these scorelines: City 1-4, Southampton 1-6 and even add the 3-1 win at Chelsea. The City and Soton away wins are especially not very normal. You can't find a side in recent memory who have managed these sort of victories at two tough grounds like these. Serious signs that we're onto something truly special here.

All this in Klopp's second month in charge too!

If Sturridge avoids a lengthy injury spell, this could seriously be some season. Need to work on our home performances of course, but i'm convinced that will come in the next month or so.
Klopp is going to make damn sure not to burn Sturridge out and only use him sparingly as appropriate. We've got Benteke, Origi, and Firmino who can play the bulk of minutes and let Sturridge play only our key games.

Where's Aly nowadays?

He's at Villa, been sent out on loan to Porto for the season though.

On today's game - it's nice to know that there's no sense of panic/apprehension when we go a goal down anymore. There's clearly a lot of belief and confidence in the side at the minute and for once I wasn't worried when we conceded first. Great display from everyone today, I think we really saw the strength in depth too.

We were always gonna improve with strikers coming back and all that , obviously not to this extent but another dimension is the defensive organization. 11 games under Klopp only in 1 game we conceded more than one goal and long may it continue.
Don't  agree,  Rodgers was systematically destroying the players confidence.
This has been nothing to do with players coming back, it's all on Klopp and his staff.

Just look at this run of results, unbelievably good! Just that f***ing Palace loss otherwise it's near enough perfect!

Spurs A - draw
Kazan H - draw
Saints H - draw
B'mouth H - win
Chelsea A - win
Kazan A - win
Palace H - loss
City A      - win
Bordeaux H - win
Swansea H - win
Saints A   - win

7 wins in our last 8, and only 1 loss in 17.  8)

Looking at our next 8 it's not hard to imagine that we could win 7/8 again (particularly as 6 of them are away games haha):

Newcastle A
FC Sion A (EL)
WBA H
Watford A
Leicester H
Sunderland A
West Ham A
Stoke A (league cup)

 :wellin :scarf :champ

My sentiments exactly. Klopp comes in after leaving a team that won two Bundesliga titles and tells these players that he's now come to Liverpool not because of the money or the prestige but because, and this is truly incredible, he actually wants to work with THEM! He doesn't want to replace them with more expensive versions of themselves, he wants to work with them because he actually believes that they are all incredible players capable of winning anything.

Rodgers in his last press conferences kept talking about "rebuilding"-just a euphemism really for the players not being good enough, putting the blame on them instead of on himself and the coaching staff. I thought it was so foolish then and I'm glad that slowly it's being shown just how foolish a thought it was.

If it's a geometric sequence it'll be 10-1 (ie. add 1, then add 2, then add 4...)

Newcastle must be shitting themselves ;D

If a(1)=3, then the recurrence relation is a(n) = 1/2*(n^2 - n + 6),  so we should be scoring 48 in game 10...  :D

I actually think that Brendan Rodgers will be proud tonight. Klopp has brought in the belief, confidence and attitude, but Brendan saw the talent there in the first place.

Well done the players, fans and (especially) Jurgen Klopp, but some respect for Rodgers too.

Awesome performance, the best I've felt after a game for two years. The future is Red. The future is Klopp.

Chelsea - they were out of sorts they said.
City - they had an unusual off day that made us look good
Saints - we ripped them a new arsehole.

What's great to see is the players enjoying their football again, towards the end of Rodgers' tenure the players looked like they were carrying the weight of the World on their shoulders. Now they're grinning from ear to ear and aside from the brilliant footie we're playing that's the most pleasing aspect for me. The lads have taken their backpacks off  ;D

Just finished watching the match, the first 10 minutes were horrendous, like we stumbled out of bed and stubbed our toe. Then we realized we're awake and we should really crack on! Fantastic from Sturridge's goal onwards. That's what Sturridge can bring to the team, control, touch, jink to the left and it's 1-1. Can plays the pass of the season but Sturridge still had to finish it, clinical and we're away and sailing!

After that it was game management and then Moreno showing he hasn't lost his touch from Spurs (don't think Origi knew too much about it) Moreno does however need to control himself a bit better defensively, that will come though. Origi's 2nd was a thing of beauty, run onto the ball and bang a rocket that almost broke the net! Ibe's goal was something he tried to do on the weekend at Swansea but slipped just before the vital strike! No slip this time and it was inch perfect into the corner. Origi was just having fun at the end. Shout to Smith for the cross though, that was perfect.

A real proper 6-1 thrashing. Thanks for showing up Southampton but you didn't stand a chance. Everyone clicked nicely, pity about Can and his soft yellow, misses the game at Newcastle but Milner is back and so is Henderson so we should be ok.

Just a fantastic all around performance.

Randall will have better games as well, got absolutely mauled in the first couple of minutes but settled down.

Onto Stoke!

I think at one stage we had 5 shots on target and scored 5 goals. Did we finish with 7 shots on target and 6 goals. That is some statistic.

Was it Can who spoiled that 100% statistic? Drop him!
