Incredibly disappointing.

We don't have a hope in hell of achieving anything while we continue to be so utterly, unacceptably shite at set-pieces, both attacking and defending.

Milner needs to improve a lot from today's performance.

Milner - Mr Reliable 7 out of 10 at City. Are we about to ruin another player?

Great to see Daniel Sturridge back in a red shirt. A home goal for Ings. Only positives really.

The frustration for me is we have no set plan. Like last season, it wasn't working so BR tried 352. This season, it isnt working so again he reverts to 352. A bit better but then that doesn't work so he reverts back to 433. After 4 seasons, we should have a very set game plan which still is not the case. That for me is more worrying than the draw today. Really disappointing to see us go back to 352 as it points towards no plan.....

Also how the fuck did Milner stay on the pitch?

Bad shots, bad passes, bad corners, and bad free kicks.

Shocking performance.

Yeah tough on Rodgers that with your goalie gifting them a chance and your star player blowing a 1v1.

Much better than we have seen, but in the greater backdrop of performances and form, you do wonder what is going to happen.

Disappointing to say the least.

At times we played some nice stuff, but we are, without doubt, the softest side in the league.  Mentally we're shot, every side are aware that if they give it a go at some point we'll fold.  Mignolet was at fault for the goal, but Coutinho has to put that away, it was ridiculous.

I can't see where the next win is coming from and I'm at a loss on how we change things, the problem is I don't think Rodgers can either.

Player for player, we have a great squad, I genuinely mean that, the problem is getting the best out of them and that's the responsibility of the manager.

The people who are after Rodgers wont agree but that was a pretty decent performance today. We created a lot of CLEAR CUT chances but couldn't finish them off.

We are getting there now most of our squad is fit, and Ings should start the next game. People won't like it (though I really don't care), but I think we will turn it around very soon; the play was much better with Ings, Firmino and Lallana on.

It's more of the same really, March-May and now the first two months of the new season, 5 months of football (or thereabouts), it's just not good enough, for the investment and the length of time he's been at the club, at the very least a new manager would provide a boost to the club, he's going to be sacked eventually, why wait til the situation worsens?

I'm not one to call for change willy nilly, but this is an irretrievable situation imho, the standard of football is shocking, and tactically he's just guessing at this stage, 4 goals in 6 league games is fucking abysmal.

excellent performance worthy of a win - a flukey bit of goalkeeping away from all three points.  if we keep playing like that, top 4 will be easily achievable.

amazing what a difference the addition of sakho is though.  defensive solidity all of a sudden.

what a great player firmino is, and lallana is an amazing talent.

Throwing Lallana on before Firmino killed it for us, messed up our shape for no reason, and we never found our way back after that. Should've been Firmino on for Sturridge with clear instructions to play close to Ings. It was very clear within 30 seconds that with Lallana coming deep our build up play was f*cked.

Lucky we didn't up losing that, in a way.

The funny thing is, people will say how we played a lot better than we have previously. And whilst that's true, it is only because Norwich are actually a pretty poor side.

Delaying what inevitably needs to be done, at this stage.

It's got to that horrible stage where I'm just 'meh' about the whole thing. I tried to get excited as we were pushing for the winner but post-match, I'm not even angry because it is par for the course with us these days. With Rodgers in charge, days like this will be the norm.

Their goal exemplaric for everything Rodgers is incapable of. He still hasn't managed to replace the very inconsistent, if not piss-poor Mignolet with a much better goalkeeper. He still hasn't managed to set up a defence, no matter of who is playing in there.

It's another poor result and yet another terrible performance. I can't remember the last good one to be fair. He must go because he is horribly out of his depth now. It's getting ridiculous.

Shake it up, for me time to throw it all up in the air.

But I'm bored now mate, football is the only thing I've really got as a hobby or interest, and you shower of shit are ruining it for me. Selfish I know. Not acceptable. We have to win at home to Norwich. Individual performances were pretty good on the whole, but the team needs to produce, too. Three good results to start the season, and we've done nothing to build on them. This seems just like last season, even though this squad is better.

That one is on the attacking players, more than enough chances to win that comfortably.

Still, there was a bit to cling to. Good selections and it looked a bit like we had a plan of sorts. Wins need to come fast though.

The positives first.

Sakho made a big difference to the defence. He and Skrtel played well together.

Moreno and Ings were good.

The bad........

Coutinho had a good game but he needs to put chances away. He is very wasteful and should have scored when one-on-one with the keeper.
Milner.........corners were pathetic.
Mignolet.......weak punch to give them the goal. Ruddy outplayed Mignolet and was dominant in the air.

Ings, Lallana, Coutinho and Firmino all played well together but couldn't convert the chances.

This was one of our easiest home games and to draw is not really acceptable. The performance was fine but the result was not. I could hear the boos at the end of the game.

You can spin it anyway you want but a point at home vs Norwich just isn't good enough.

I really don't know what's next, such a hollow feeling about all this. And it's a fucking sunday too.

Hope City haven't swerved is a dud with Milner. He looks like he's aged  about ten yearsas a player in the Summer, though he's in a non-functioning side so it it difficult to judge.

positives were the shape of the team was much better but individually we're lacking especially in midfield and the manager needs to find a better balance in there.

results are the most important thing but after the last few weeks we needed an improved performance and we got that although you can't be pleased with a draw at home to Norwich.

kinda strange how we've gone to the back 3 after this many games, makes you wonder what we were planning for in pre season.
