From 8pm? No swearing, violence or shagging in the 1st episode then? 😕

Mes amis! Correction it's from 9pm, so yes plenty of the above I'd guess!

I've fallen behind, I was certainly enjoying it before life got in the way. It's good to know the standard as been kept up though.

The current one is going to end tonight, whatever series it is (7). It's been up there with the Bridge etc for me. Hope we get similar quality next week as well with whatever new series, vaguely remember seeing some English trailers. Edit, The Sinner, and its set in upstate New York.

It's a class apart from most stuff for me. Always such convincing acting/characterization that raises intricate - but never too intricate - absorbing plots to a very high level that makes it unmissable.

Love it.

Finished watching last night. TV drama of the highest level, it was breathless stuff at times. Good ending I thought, bought it all together, but left sufficient hanging there again for another series. Looks like series 8 will be the last by all accounts. From what I read, Caroline Proust who plays Laure is looking for roles other than dishevelled, depressed 'rogue' cop! Couldn't see it continuing without her.
