My gamble on Vardy captain has put me 38th in the world. Wow that is some rank

For the week or all season?

Had him as vice captain and captained Mané which was the more obvious call so can’t complain too much. 41 points with Rudiger to play and that’s way above the average for this week.

Sorry I meant 380th still mightily pleased with that Rank tho, can't help but look at Watford players and Spurs with their double gameweeks coming up.

Funny my best ranking all year was gw 1 569k, then my worst all year was gm wk 2 1.6 million  since then i have been going back and forth from 600k to 1.4 mill.

But i smashed this wk 81 points avg 20 Nice. 607k back where i "belong" . Halved 1.2 in 2 weeks. I do believe i may have left the charge a little late though  ;D

Finally cracked the top million for the first time this season
Hazard is still a cock but I'm somewhat less hostile towards him after buying him and captaining him this week. Was going to be a loaner for Sterling but I think I may keep him on, especially with Pip being the ultimate double fixture killer.

All I've got left is a wildcard, which I semi-regret although I tried to use my other chips when I thought they'd pay off rather than just letting them bunch up for desperate end of season use. Be glad when the season is over for this, it's really stressful because I'm too competitive with myself.  ;D

Subbed Brooks at the last second.

Have 9 points from 5 players so far and 16 left on the bench from him and Boruc. Bravo.

I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself for buying Lucas Moura even though I could afford Son, and benching Rashford for McNeil... Read those CL rotations perfectly.

Pity I didn't go the whole hog and captainise Moura, as I was tempted to do before falling for the double fixture trap again and wasting it on Duffy!

Nope

Didn’t think so. Bit annoying as would have been good to use the wildcard to load my bench for this double week and then bench boost it.

Ah well!

Wildcard played. Strangely the main core of my team I’ve ended up not changing - so my 3 forwards (Jimenez, Wilson & Agüero) and my 3 Liverpool players (Robertson, Salah and Mane) have all stayed.

Now, do I captain one of Mane or Salah hoping they grab a couple, or go for Agüero who is playing two games but against tough opposition, or go for someone like Son or Jimenez who are both also playing two games but against easier opposition. Hmmm!

I think I may have been inebriated last week picking my captain though

44 points (about 120,000th overall) with 15 man-games left. Could have been even better if Deulofeu hadn't been listed as doubtful, he was my first choice to come in but I figured Watford wouldn't risk anyone with a cup final approaching and mid-table comfort assured. In the end I went for Doucoure, which isn't the worst thing in the world. I'm also glad i didn't have any free transfers because I wanted to punish my Brighton defenders for last week's shockers ; I was stuck with them and they came through with the goods.

55pts with 14 to hopefully play again. Using the bench boost at his stage of the season is a massive differential and has moved me to too in both leagues.

Would love to have a few Liverpool players for next Friday though!

Used bench boost too and have44 with 13 to play.

Moved 41 clear in my main league. Guy in third triple captained De Bruyne. Unluckee!

Had a poor double game week, cut my lead at the top from 100 to about 60  :no

Got bench boost and triple captain left to use. Think I'll use the former on the final game week so means I have this week or next for the triple captain.

Bit of a risk picking Salah or Mane this week but think I'll go for one of them. Not sure which!!

I’ve gone Mo and Mané vice in case  he rests Mo. Don’t think either will play the 90 if we win comfortably enough but think Mo will be the hungrier to score if he does play.

36 points from 2 players and it's only good for 2 millionth in the world. Seems everyone had the same idea, and unless you triple captained Bobby, all combinations were winners. BDN has gotta feel good about getting 57 from Mo! Congrats on not being a daft double fixture whore like me.

55k for the game week so far! Finished on 70, the best was 90. I’ll plummet now while my usual dross play but secured decent leads in a couple of leagues I’m in (most importantly overtook my son finally as he ignored my advice and didn’t use treble captain on Mané or Robertson thankfully!).

Finally made a good flip-a-coin choice this week. My first thought was to grab another Liverpool defender with Huddersfield in town, but the only regular I could afford was Matip and I had a feeling Klopp would take the opportunity to play Lovren or Gomez into some form. So instead I traded the utterly useless Rashford for Callum Wilson, having realised he does his best work in away games. That's a bingo!
