I'd never have said this before this season but Tsimikas is the superior attacking left back to Robbo. Robbo edges him defensively but I feel like his attacking play has not been great the last 18months for a variety of reasons.

It's a wonderful position to be in, we can rotate our LB's and be confident that the overall quality is similar.
I’ve plenty links to the clubs playing and backroom staff as many on here know thank you very much. Fair enough, I admire your optimism. But you’re absolute ostriches if you think this squad, even with 2 or 3 new, “cut price” players with potential get us anywhere close

He should be starting tonight and that is what I am most excited about. I have felt he should have started a few more games than he has lately. Robertson has looked shaky at times so maybe that is why he has played against the likes of Watford to round him back into form, but I really feel like we should be playing Tsimikas vs the bottom sides.  He just seems better on the ball. Can go left or right when taking someone on, his crossing has been great and he is the best corner taker we have. Klopp knows best, but I would like to see more of the Greek lad.  :D

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Really missing his delivery from corners and free kick imo, probably just random but feels like he has a better delivery from dead ball situations than everyone else on our team. Would be nice to score from a corner again.

Where the heck do we find players like him from? He’s genuinely quite awesome. Is there some kind of under the radar talent mine that only Klopp knows about?

found using much data and analytics from the footy-nerds in the offices I spose  ;D

He ticks so many boxes of a Klopp fullback, yet clearly under the radar, as he’s far better than a lot of starting left backs in this league.

I’d say that it’s the way Klopp picks players who fit his style and then works hard on their development.

It’s amazing how 6-7 pages back people were rattling about how bad a signing he was to now having shouts of him being first choice. Credit to Kostas, must’ve been a difficult time last season but he’s been exceptional and is really putting the blowtorch on Andy.

that was a big game for him to come in against a tricky bunch of fuckers

he's shown this season quality going forward, bit naive defensively, but good solid game, if he can keep on progressing as he is, you have the luxury that when your main man isn't picked you're not worried about the second guy coming in

well played lad

I’ve been saying in the last 2 months that Tsimikas is a better player than Robbo in their current forms respectively. Tsimi’s attacking play is so much better and he really deserves starting over Robbo. Robbo has not been the same player since the later part of last season. His crosses are wasteful and he has been covering offsides many times probably because of his lack of confidence. With Tsimi in such good form, it’s time to give Robbo some deserved resting times. He has been playing non-stop for the last 3 years!
