I actually think i'd vote him as player of the year as well. Putting my love for LFC aside, De Bruyne has been stand out player but TAA has offered creativity and been a solid part in crucial games this season. Chelsea home and away, United home, Leicester away

The votes for POTY are going to cause a split between our three aren't they, hopefully doesn't affect the final result too much. Sometimes can be better for just one player from a club to be up for it.

The black box eventually turned into a form where two mandatory fields had no options in the drop down menu, and a mandatory check-box where I have to accept TAG-Heuer newsletters and marketing sh*t. Anyone know if there's a way to vote without all that crap? :D

Friend of mine, in an effort to disrespect our footie, said to me the other day that the Divock goal last August v. Norwich, plus Bobby's goal last month v.  Chelsea (and even Sadio's first goal versus Neuer in the CL last year) were straight up route 1 football. He said the pundits and the media weren't calling us out on it because it was "precious" Liverpool and poster-boys like Van Dijk and TAA pulling it off. I told him this is not just your ordinary route 1 you get at Aldi and Tesco. This is the M&S/Waitrose stuff. Sexy as fuck. Looks good. Tastes excellent. Worth the dosh.   ;D

He's an idiot. Every team, perhaps with the exception of Pep's old tiki-taka machine, is essentially opportunist and will score every type of goal if the chance is on. You only become a 'route one' team or a 'long ball' team if that's how you are set up to play and if that's what you primarily aim to do.

Clearly not even the most biased anti-Red can say that that applies to Liverpool.

A goal's a goal, regardless how it's scored and considering they could only pick 3 out of all the goals we scored kinda contradicts what he's claiming.

You’re probably right. I’ve been sick to death of all the « Announce ... » tweets since last summer. Put me right off Twitter. Now, despite winning the league and having a manager with an eye for the right « team » players and a willingness to develop our youth, the whining has got even worse.  Am most surprised by the vitriolic comments  against FSG, especially since we’ve just won a title and there’s a chance now for a second Scouser to break into the first team for good. Some fans are unbelievably entitled and ungrateful.

Is that the PFA one? If so, who got the player of the season?

So confusing as there’s always loads of these.

Premier League one, I think that's different to the PFA one. Not sure when that one is announced.

I liked him talking about his thought process when crossing & passing. Shows his in game intelligence & he has a particular purpose in each pass not random & off the cuff(barca semi apart).
