Am I the only person who actually likes the Away kit? Think it's better than what we've got this year, and like this year, think it'll grow on you. Think it'll look class when on personally.

It might be me being overly cautious but does anyone think Warrior have slightly ballsed up again with the away and third (taking the obivous god-awful patterns out of the equation) and think the colours are too similar? Obviously we had the incident a month or so after launching this years kit of Hearts having to play in their away kit at home because it clashed with all 3 of ours (red/black/dark purple seriously did nobody think of this)!! And next years both seem to have a lot of black and white on both but in different proportions and surely they can't have the colour shorts but with different colour badges?!.

For example when we play stoke and sunderland away, we'll have to wear the third kit but there is still a lot of white on there which is silly when your are launching 3 kits to still clash slightly.

It's very picky I know but it did occur to me

That's the hope. I am trying to reserve judgement until I see players in the full kits. After all, this season's 3rd kit looked ludicrous on its own, but was actually alright on the pitch in my opinion.

I said this last year, I figured we'd probably have to wear red socks when we played at Old Trafford, and we did.

It's not a massive deal really.

It looks good on the official pics.

Still really irks me that the last one only lasted one season.  Rinsing every pound they can out of the supporters...

We'll need a different keeper shirt for playing tottenham/swansea...

hope they keep the design but change the colour.

Can anyone do a photoshop to show the new keeper shirt in green/yellow?

It's the home kit, ie Spurs and Swans won't be in white when they come here.... TO GET FUCKING CRUSHED :no

The mix of colours there... just looks completely out of place. There is no consistency to the design.
I like the first kit. To me it seems like they are more willing to change designs for the away- and third kits rather than the home kit, where they want to keep it safe but stylish nonetheless. When that is said, we don't actually know how the away- and third kits will look  :P

Does anyone know if the goalkeepers shirts these days are different materials to the outfield kits?

Thinking of buying one but have some serious scars from the last goalkeeper jersey I got.

That hideous orange and yellow ensemble that David James wore back in the 90s was so uncomfortable to wear it was untrue.

Changing the home kit every year and having a third kit is just a blatant exercise in fleecing the fans out of more money.

As for the third kit, haven't we only used that at Norwich away this season?

Even that was a token gesture considering we've worn red in previous visits.

I think we used it a few more times, but can't remember against who... I agree that the third kit is not something you would call a necessity, but every decent team has 3 so we might as well...

Well, we don't know the other two for sure yet but I suspect we're looking the genuine article above. A shame if that's the case. Would have been nice to use the home as a template with a b/w kit with red stripes and an all yellow with red stripes as 2 and 3. Think most fans would be made up with that.

After seeing the graphic mock up of the away, I actually like it. The third will forever be atrocious though. Also the home looks infinitely better than I thought it would.

Its a business decision.  If people only buy one shirt (I'd assume clubs have data on this) then there's no point in making two shirts that they'd buy.  You make a second product that will appeal to different people.

I don't like the away and third (thought the same last year, and actually like the third now) but then I'm only in the market for one kit, and the home's got me.  Maybe they are seeing how they can appeal to people that currently DON'T want to buy a traditional, plain shirt.

God knows if that will work out, but given the possibilities that either Warrior are incompetent idiots, or they have a clue, I'm going with the latter.
