It only feels like a week or so ago the last tournament has finished, can't believe it was a few months ago the yeas has gone that fast, i see the final is over one match now as well rather than over 2 legs, & that was announced early last year well before, the River v Boca final.

The big guns from Brazil in the other half of the draw. I'd quite like to see Palmeiras have a decent run as they've been the best team in Brazil for the last couple of years. Just looked it up on wiki the last time Flamengo won was 1981 with Zico!

Yeah, Palmeiras really seem to be on a roll the past couple of seasons - things have seemingly clicked into place for them; whereas a previously promising Corinthians on the other hand... seem to have fallen off a cliff.

Amazing away attendance for International in Montevideo and a decent number of Cruzeiro in Buenos Aires last night and looks like a decent number of Flamengo in Ecuador. Seems like the Copa Libertadores away attendances and the competition on the whole is getting closer and closer to the CL in recent years.
