would you not lower your starting price?  a high starting price puts a lot of people off and you'll easily get way over that

I know, but being without a job and the fact that I won it in a competition, i'll take the £120ish rather than chancing at 99p and getting anywhere between £80 and £150.

Incidentally Ebay and Paypal fees are a joke. I think the final total including P&P was £128.99 and I stand to get £105 after they and Royal Mail have taken all their fees. :wanker

ebay has been a saviour

Got my four year old lad into thundercats, now he's looking for santa to bring him everything from the sword of omens, to the cats lair

Managed to pick up a lot of toys, but they havent been cheap.

He wasnt having the line "Santa forgot how to make thundercat toys because its been so long"

What would be the best (cheapest) way to ship out a PS3 game? A normal A4 envelope?

when sending discs in the post you should always put something inside the case to stop the disc from coming loose (which it will), it might scratch it depending on how the package is treated

i add a little bit of bubble wrap inside, works a treat

Any soft ground ones?

Tend to keep an eye out for football boots on ebay, you always will have people who buy a pair but afte one or two turns in them find they dont fit right and stick them on ebay.
Bargains to be had.

sold something on ebay and checked paypal, it says

"On hold – post now
Payments received: The transaction is under a payment hold for an eBay item. Your money will be released after 21 days. To get your payment sooner, please post the goods now."

so it just says pending at the moment, what's that about? not feeling like posting it for the payment to be cancelled, but on paypal itself it tells me to post now?

I think the payment will be made once the buyer leaves you feedback

(at least thats what happened to me when I sold my nokia n95)

Irresponsible seller.

The guy that left that feedback was trying to con me into giving him another Rapidshare account because apparently "Space had been used" but the account was brand new and unshared.
Guy was an utter twat.
