Just received a boys away shirt, last seasons black with Calsburg  obviously. I didn't check the details properly and its got Sam on the back, so cant really give it to my nephew called Tom! Its in top condition and looks genuine to me, only cost £4.80 all in, so not overly bovered.
So if anyone has a boy or girl called Sam between the ages of 6 and 10, then drop me a pm and I'll happily post it to you, as long as you promise to give one of the Hillsborough groups a fiver.
Make a nice Christmas present for someone.

Selling a Toyota Hilux Surf for my brother in law if anyone's interested, getting loads of emails and phone calls with low offers around the £250 - £300 mark, but have not got much of a clue about cars {miss spent youth chasing girls instead of playing with cars ;D} If there are any guys on here that can give me a few pointers to what i can reasonably expect to get for it i would be very grateful.

If anyone's expecting (or knows someone who is), I'm selling a brand new Zeddy and the Parsnip Moses basket and stand from Mamas and Papas, both still in their plastic wrappers. Pick up (I'm in Stafford) or I'll deliver within a reasonable (ie an hour or two radius) distance for a small fee.

Joining Betfair? Use the referral code UHHFL6VHG and we'll both get some extra cash.

All of the above came from my head unless otherwise stated. If you have been affected by the issues raised by my post, please feel free to contact us on 0800 1234567 and we will send you an information pack on manning the fuck up.

Selling:

AG Neovo K-A19 Monitor - 19" Widescreen Monitor - 3ms response

Used but boxed as new. Great condition.

Selling for £65 with DHL Delivery or £58 collected.

AND

Pentum Mobile 1400MHz
256MB Ram
Mobility Radeon 9000
40GB Hard Drive
14.1" SXGA TFT Display
DVD Drive
Windows XP
Lots of other little connections and buttons.

Reall nice condition. So it is a bit bigger and heavier than a Netbook but I prefer it as it has a nice, bigger screen, more connectivity, nice keyboard and mouse pad...also has a disc drive, which you obviously don't get in a netbook.

All in all, a great Laptop for internet and every day tasks - office etc etc

Not looking for much for this one.

http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/kop_007

ps. if anyone on here wants a good deal before christmas and collect, will do.

Question;

Lets say you're buying, I don't know, a DVD

The asking price is 0.99

You say you're maximum bid is 5.00

Someone else comes along can't see what your maximum bid is correct? So maybe they say 4.00 is their best bid and obviously that wont get them in. What happens now? Do I pay the 4.00 that the rival bidder was prepared to pay or do I pay the asking price of 0.99 as no one else went above my maximum bid?

If I just pay the 0.99, then whats the stop me entering a maximum bid that I know no one will ever match. Like, 1,000.00 for this 0.99 DVD? No one outbids the 1,000.00 and all I pay is the 0.99?

I'm sure its not that simple but can't see why not?

I'm sure its not that simple but can't see why not?

If your maximum is £5 and someone bids £4, then you will pay £4.50.
If your maximum is £10 and someone bids £7, your bid will stand at £7.5.

If your maximum is £10 and someone bids £10. The one that bid first will win the item.

The maximum is a sort of automatic bidding helping hand, as if you're telling someone, I'm going away, here, have £10 and bid for me but do not exceed this £10.

Listed a netbook on there the other day. Within half an hour some fella had met the buy out price. Asks me to email him a few pictures as he says he's had bad experience in the past, so I do. Gets back to me asking me to send it to Nigeria and he'll pay £120 extra. Fucked him off.

Relist it.. ten minutes later.. someone else does the exact same thing. I end up with the Final Value Fees or whatever they are, and then all the listing fees. Came to about £70 or something in total. Was onto ebay for ages trying to get them to get rid of them. Both users were swiftly removed anyway.

Here it is if anyone is after one, basically brand new hence the reserve price -

Obviously nothing had gone into my paypal, and i had a very suspect email CLAIMING i needed to send before the money i promptly emailed and said forget scamming. Contacted ebay and got both FVF back

Yeah cheeky gets. I've had all them emails off people who've came into money and all that crap. Didn't know it went on on ebay though as I hadn't used it for a couple of years. It always seems to be Nigeria as well. With the second one I had I just checked the address given on ebay and it came up as a school in Rochdale, with a fellas name from the same street being used, so I just swerved giving him the payment details and got onto ebay.

About to put my 6 month old laptop up on Ebay in the next few days or so, didn't know if anybody from on here was interested in it outright instead...

Specs;

HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC

    * • Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    * • Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-720QM Quad Core processor (1.6GHz, 6MB L3 Cache)
    * • 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 5650 Graphics [HDMI, VGA] - For Quad Core Processors
    * • 6GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
    * • 640GB HD
    * • 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
    * • 15.6" diagonal High Definition LED HP Brightview Widescreen Display
    * • Fingerprint Scanner, Built in WebCam
    * • LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support
    * • Intel Wireless-N Card

I can put any software, movies, TV Series, games, music or whatever anyone would want as well on it.  It was purchased in the states, so the DVD drive is NTSC region locked but I haven't used up any of the Region Changes on it.  That doesn't matter, because I've got the latest AnyDVD HD on there so it's no problem to play any region DVD's.  I also will be including a plug step-down adapter with it and it works fine in UK plugs, never had an issue.

It's a great graphics, entertainment and gaming setup.  Have had no problems editing videos and pictures on it quickly, or playing games at the highest supported settings.

Had this thing built to my specs and delivered in October of last year, nothing wrong with it at all, just want to build a desktop instead.  Still has about 6 months of HP warranty left on it, have the original box and all.  Want £550 for it, can negotiate a little, lower to similar spec ones are on Ebay for £700-£800+ new.  I'll give it a few days or so before I put it up on Ebay, then I'll post the link here...

:D

Na, don't think I've quite got the stones to do that without a reserve as £550 is about how much the desktop build is going to cost me without a monitor or keyboard.  Got a fantastic deal on a HP2510i monitor at a boot sale last week with no dead pixels, ended up getting it for £50 and it works beautifully, just had a bit of dust on it :D

Ebay are bandits.
I won't have anything to do with them ever again.
vowed to stop using them over a year ago due to them charging me a significant amount for an item that didn't sell. sent debt collectors after me, the lot, wouldn't listen to reason. I couldn't deal with going to court, I had major family concerns at the time (still do) so in the end I just paid and told them to fuck off forever.
Glad to say, I've bought and sold approximately 2 to 3 grands worth of various goods and wares since then, using other sites, gumtree, freeads, forums etc. No fees, no commission, no money going into ebays coffers.

Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Fuck you ebay!

On the other end of the spectrum, I've been rather pleased at how they've conducted their business with me over the last 4 years.  Haven't had any issues and they've not screwed me over when 'buyers' have tried to.

The fees are a bit much, but other than that I'm happy with them.

I'm thinking of using Gumtree, Freeads Etc do you get any problem using these sites and how do you get people to pay you?

Can people still pay using paypal?

Intel Pentium E3400 DUALCORE
2 GIGABYTE
High Performance Graphics card: GeForce 512MB DDR3 HDMI-DVI Out
HD Sound
CDRW/DVD Combo Drive
6 USB Ports
250 GB Hard Drive

Do them specs look ok for a general computer?

Don't do that much on it, but would like it to be able to run newish games pretty well, Footy Manager and that type.

Down for £150 for just the base. Just looking for tips as i'm not really sure whats what with computers now!

Thanks.
What bits does it have? Because as long as there's not eight inches of slaghammer down there, I'd be up it like a rat up a drainpipe

tick the completed listings box for each item and it will show you how much the items have sold for recently.
Oh you English are SO superior aren't you? Well, would you like to know where you'd be without US the good old U.S. of A. to protect you? I'll tell you. The smallest fucking province in the Russian Empire, that's where! If it wasn't for us, you'd all be speaking German, singing, "Deutschland, Deutschland Uber Alles!"
