That was... yeah. Not sure how to describe it. Think Scotland have lost a good chance there, England will keep kicking it all half long and make them have to run it back to score.

I know this would be a balmy summer’s day at Thomond but is purists from the warmer isle are struggling a bit to adapt.

This is a fucking farce! Scotland gained about 50 yards from a not straight line out!

Some shocking calls in favour of England there, Sinckler clearly rips the ball after no clear release. Heinz kicked it out on the full after carrying the ball back in to the 22 as well.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

More dangerous to have the ball here. Just need the right bounce of the ball to get into a good pitch position and then show some patience.

Too many errors at the moment but pretty hard to be too critical!

The Sinkler one was a bad call. For the other the player was tackled back into the 22 (think that makes a difference)?

A dog of a game but had to be, no matter how. Can keep a long a pretence we’ll beat you next and therefore still have a good chance of winning the title but we shall see.

Where do France play Wales and Ireland this year?

Scotland are the total opposite of Liverpool these days. We don't know how to lose even when we're far from our best, they've forgotten how to win.

I think it's because he drank out of a beer bottle when he was asked what the atmosphere was like in the dressing room. Found it funny myself.

France seem to drop off in the final 20. If you can keep it tight in the first 60 the win is there for you. That's what Wales and Ireland need to be doing against them over the next month or so.

Enjoyed the match yesterday, was far better than the drab performance against the Scots. Fancied wales by a couple beforehand so I’m glad to be wrong.

Would be surprised if we win in the away games so was vital we won this one.

Assuming everyone beats Italy we could have a three way tie if everyone wins their home games from here with us, you and France. Every bonus point could be crucial.

Was at the ground when the England coaches went past and there was a bit of booing and some verbal abuse but nothing untoward. The spot where they stopped was about 50 yards from me and could hear a bit more of the same. There were a lot of plastic beer bottles around, getting blown around in the wind etc and you could see how one might have got blown off the upper levels and down onto where the England coaches were. Hard to see why someone would throw a bottle at a coach nobody could probably name and it really didn't feel like that sort of atmosphere. Hopefully it was just a wind-blown bottle and nothing more than that.

The booing the kicker only really started when Farrell started taking too long, other than that it was pretty quiet but not exactly silent.

I thought Scotland had plenty of possession but couldn't do anything with it, scrum was awful and line-out not much better, some odd options taken.

Got soaked, had to stand in the rain for ages waiting for a tram because people got stuck in a lift and they had to stop them for a while.

Had better days out.

Strange seeing Ireland as big as England at u20 level. Our pack are monsters, only lad we seemed to have problems with from their pack was the English 8. Extremely impressive but it must be said that England lost a number of players to the clubs for this game.

13 of the Irish 23 were from Leinster but the standouts were arguably the Munster and Ulster lads.
