What a bad cake eating bellend. To be in a position like that and go out because he didn't make the weight (mind you he still has a contract I think just not as lucrative as it could have been).

Actually I'm more annoyed because I really wanted to see Corey Hill fight. Intrigued as to how he'll do.

Anyone else see the brawl in the garden in UF5?

Quality little punch-up including one bloke dropping the other on his head on the concrete, splitting the back of his head open.

Nice.

Yep, both kicked out but they'll be fighting each other in the finale now. Predictably, I suppose.

I have been impressed with Joe Lauzon so far. I know he got kinda lucky with the elbow to the back of the head but I think he would have won the fight anyway.

They were right to kick those idiots out. Like Dana White said he has been doing everything he can to promote UFC as more than thugs brawling and they go and kick off.

The tension between Pulver & Penn is also growing and I can't wait to see them fight each other.

Dana gives his usual dog and pony show but you can bet your mortgage that one dramatic piss up for every season is just what he ordered. There is only one thing he is thinking about in everything he says and does. The bottom line. First they load the show with losers, nut cases and some minorities to make the 2-4 real contenders look good and gives the chance for the trainers (Dana's pals) to act tough and get recognition. Do ya wanna be a effin fighter and fight for peanuts? Well do ya? His constant cussing is frankly pathetic for a guy who is the top honcho in a relatively new sport trying to attain respectability.

Not really. I don't blame him for going off on one at times. A fighter gets a second chance to realise his dream, presumably, and still isn't happy (Wang). Or someone who doesn't make the weight because he was eating cake the night before! And seeing as you bring up the fact it's trying to 'attain respectability', isn't that the exact reason he was so pissed off about the street fight?

He can fake almost anything when it suits him. He was all respect for Pride when it suited him. He was bullish about the buy out when it wasn't even real which made the Pride fighters nervous and ultimately led to Pride's total demise. On the show he was lucky that nobody that still had a chance was stupid enough to do anything damning on camera, anything that couldn't be cut out anyway. The idiots won't go home anyway. They go to another house next to the big house and then fight in the finals. If he was really worried they wouldn't fight in the finals. Anyway a little scrap isn't a big thing. It's just that you can't then realistically have them live together after that. I liked Lauzons take on it.

That bit makes me kinda laugh. I suppose he is just trying to come across as a 'normal' guy but I doubt Bill Gates walks around MS effing and blinding.

I'm not saying he's perfect just that there's better things to have a go at him for rather than the fact he gets annoyed at some of the fighters on his show. And yeah commented before that Sims and Thomas will fight on the TUF 5 finale, makes a complete mockery of kicking them off the show but I suppose it's a fight most people who watch the show will want to see being a grudge match and all. Hardly a punishment though, they don't even seem that talented either.

Doesn't look like they are planning on showing the second semi final of TUF5 before the final on Sunday.

Will have to consult Wiki for a spoiler to see who's fighting.

Do you know a stream for it?

If not I'll just download it in the morning.

Best card for a while though. Mind you UFC 74 and 75 are just as good. Some great fights coming up.

So, thoughts for UFC 74. Very decent card IMO.

Don't know too much about Gonzago, other than when he dumped Cro Cop on his arse. Hope Couture wins, but i have my doubts. Mans an absolute legend though. Fought one of the most perfect fights i've ever seen against Tim Silva.

George St. Pierre should beat Koscheck pretty handily. He's a class act is George.

Been impressed with Kendall Grove since i seen him on TUF?.

Can't wait to see Wanderlei Silva fight in the UFC. Only seen clips of him, but fuck he's an animal. Coming off two losses though. Don't know who there gonna feed him to before they set him up with Chuck though.

Sorry lads but I haven't been able to keep up with UFC so I have a quick question:

Is Bisping still undefeated and when was his last or next fight? Thanks :wave

Yep still undefeated although he hasn't really fought anyone of quality. He's fighting in the upcoming event in England. UFC 75. He'll be fighting, Hamill i think his name is. If you watched Bisping when he was on the TUF show then you'll know him, he was the deaf guy. Bisping should really of fought him in the finals but Hamill had to pull out due to injury. Should be a close fight.

When I was watching the season of Ultimate Fighter he was in I swore that it said he was from Liverpool - so I automatically jumped on the bandwagon... :P

Yep.

Looking forward to it myself. Think Gonzaga will win but nothing Couture does surprises me too much now. St-Pierre against Koscheck is a very interesting fight too. Hopefully the former wins, think he'll be too well-rounded and dynamic for Koscheck.. Stevenson, Grove and hopefully Huerta will be the other winners.

Randy Couture vs.  Gabriel Gonzaga . Would love Couture to win though.

Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck . Pierre to win by a stoppage in Rd. 2.

Joe Stevenson vs. Kurt Pellegrino

Patrick Côté vs. Kendall Grove

Roger Huerta vs. Alberto Crane
