I thought the last couple of minutes where  Partridge read out some of the less flattering tweets about Baskell's sexual proclivities and the other two presenters response was very much in the " I never really knew Sir Jimmy" school of disemblance.

The only media I’ve seen/heard talk about it negatively are the gutter press and Piers Moron.

Certainly not Simon Heffer.

Don't think we've had nearly enough of Alan going on the offensive yet so far, very end of the second episode is the only part I remember of the two episodes where he's not on the back foot.

I'm quite liking this though

Hes obviously trying too hard to be nice in his new role but as he settles in we see the Alan we know and love slowly begin to return :)

The turnabout interview with that reporter (Ruth someone?). The glee he was getting from "That's exactly right Jenny". Genius follow up to the last one.

The weird guy from Sunderland back again. Brilliant.

I did think the meat and school bits rambled again, and Simon is a bit pointless (but then I guess that's the gimmick... trouble is I don't think it works as 'meta' comedy. I also wanted something a bit more from the contents of his phone...

Like the Sidekick Simon bits, but then I think Tim Key is funny in anything he does, this one wasn't as good as the first two ('keepin' cool') but still quite funny.
