So glad to see him enjoying the celebrations was genuinely worried he’d done his knee again just because of the way he reacted to the injury initially. Thankfully it doesn’t seem that serious and he’ll be back soon to help us to more glory.

“Ox is walking around here without crutches, without a boot, but we have to wait until the medical department gives us the green light. Joel is doing well, Fab is doing well, Dejan is doing well, so I would say in February we will have them all back. Until then, we have to see.

Yep. Looked like he hasn't missed a beat. If Milner is indeed out for Spurs, then at least we've got that covered in Ox and Lallana.

I reckon just seeing him back on the bench must have given both the players and the crowd a big lift, and may even have contributed to the performance tonight.

Did well when he came on, gave an energy boost and gave Lallana some valuable support and options. Didn't seem rusty after his injury either.

He was only out 2 weeks. Guess it was "stretched" ligaments - not really any tearing fortunately.

yes that fucking c*nt williams went through him on the sideline when the ball was already going out. Ox either jumped quickly and tweaked the ankle on the landing or got clipped.

Nope - announcers even said he was hobbling/limping for the last few minutes after that play.

I don't think he's injured though - it's an in game knock.

I think Fabinho will come in but Klopp is happy with 4 days as recovery time from game to game and then he'll rest all of today's team for Shrewsbury, so he could start Gini and Hendo again.

Gini & Hendo are undroppable atm. Rest them in the cup.

Even if we start with Fabinho-Hendo-Gini, Ox and Lallana will still be needed. There is no point to burn Ox off when he's playing very well, especially if he's carrying a knock. Either way, we have now more MFs then before.

He was fantastic yesterday. Created a few chances, notably the Gini offside goal. Put in a great shift defensively too, harassing their players, putting in tackles to win the ball. I had a feeling at one point that the game was drifting by him but then he suddenly picked it up and was everywhere.

There was a notable drop off in our team's performance once he went off.

Is it just me or he he lost some muscle mass during his last inhury break and looks clser to his pre acl physics. Seems more mobile at least. Think he will be back to his best soon.

I think he was frustrated when he came off, because he didn't score with that chance he had. If he puts more power in that shot, probably it would go in.

Klopp said in the press conference that he spoke to him and its fine. I hope he will get more minutes and the chance to hit form.
