Far from our best but superior quality told in the end. I'm looking forward to MOTD2 calling Mo a cheat again ignoring the fact that you're not allowed to wrestle your opponents.

This is what an 'authentic' title challenge looks like. Teams scrapping for their lives giving it everything and capable of getting a result if you have an off day. Ferguson's United had many games like this during their title winning seasons. Sadly, we're up against an inauthentic opponent and its games are devoid of any real drama.

We've done our bit. On to Wednesday. Would be nice if United at least made the cheats work a little bit for the win.

GET IN! Nervy at this stage of the season but it was enough for us to win. Most of the time they didn't even try, though that Morrison header miss was absolutely crucial.

I can't believe the english broadcasts were doubtful about the penalty. It was stonewall. Even here in ESPN Latin America they didn't even question it and thought it was clear and thought Morrison was incredibly dumb by trying to do that.

I’m probably in the minority but I don’t mind Cardiff. Decent City, decent fans and they’ve done well to be where they are.

Anyway, delighted with that. A potential banana skin overcome and the pressure back on City again. I don’t care how shit United are, going to old Trafford on a Wednesday night and knowing you have to win is no easy task, and that’s without the added factor of it being a derby.

I had a different stream (Thank fuck) and Townsend and Drury said it was definitely a penalty. As Townsend said, you can't hold on to an attacker for that long in the penalty box. Morrison actually did tug him down at the end of the grappling.

Hopefully Fabinho head bang nothing too serious. I'm glad our physios followed the guidelines on concussions and withdrew him straight away (even though he seemed fully 'with it' once he came around).

Matip and van Dijk were so dominant. It made me very appreciative of the quality of our defenders, especially after watching the Chuckle Brothers at the back for Man Utd.
