Don't mind Jafars on Smithdown near the Brookhouse. Food's alright, always get something for cheaper than we should or get some free drink or whatever and always good for watching football first while waiting for our stuff :). Plus, a little bit of Liverpool memorabilia there too, including a signed John Barnes picture taken from inside the place.
......and could he play!

Athena in the city center is a firm favourite.

Was in this joint last night, after coming out of X in the City, where I'd just had my arse whipped up on stage by 2 fit blondes, as a birthday present off the lads. ::)

Anyway back to the Chippy, lovely BBQ ribs, but I dropped one all over myself and the fuckin sauce won't come out of my brand new £200 cardy :-\

Pittaras at the bottom of Hatton Hill in Litherland isn't bad. My favourite though is Mr. Chips down by the Park hotel. A bit further afield, the Lobster Pot is also good.

Oh and the Linacre Fryer.

Serves yer right for spending £200 on a cardy lad. ;D

Wongs on Kenny isn't a bad shout, either. Changed management a load of times though. It mightn't even be called Wongs now.

You sound like me Ma there Kris ;)

Yeah, it's not called Wongs anymore. If I'm thinking of the same one anyway, it's on the same block as Fairfield Post Office innit? The one facing that is pretty good too, it was called Wing Wah for years but I think that's changed aswell.

The Golden Empire on the corner of that block is a boss little restaurant for Kenny, always go in for BBQ ribs on me way home from the match :lickin

The Golden Empire's quality.

Wongs is called Mei Lie or something now, get on the special crispy platter, you wait fuckin ages for it though.

Does anyone use the mobile-burger bars on a match day? They always look really dirty and horrible to me. I've never tried them so can't really judge.

Just down from Mossley Hill Station, between there and the Rose of Mossley pub

But it has deffo gone down hill in the last couple of years - used to be amazing when I first moved up here. Don't know if the management's changed or what, but it's not the same as it used to be...

Yeah, has definatly gone downhill in the last couple of years. I think that it is now run by a different owner but is still in the same family. If im right the short busty Greek girl runs it now, and it hasnt been the same since.
Shame because it really was special a few years ago.

Best fish dinners ive had are from Lingys on Windsor Street, near Prinny ave. Havent had one from there for a few years tho.

I went the one at the side of Limey by the taxi rank (the one going towards the Adelphi) on Saturday day! Funny thing I dont even think it has a name as there's no sign outside!  Sometimes you have to knock on the back door if he's closed and he'll still sort you out.

Chris's is ok, was near to my halls at Uni last year, was quite a regular.  Did some good stuff, not amazin tho.  Think they may actually do too much stuff (ie loads of different national foods), so maybe a chippy that just specialises in say Chinese is better.  Live off Smithdown now tho, so tend to go to Mei Sum, Lau's, or Kebaabish
