Good luck to them, and fook them in equal measure. But the inevitable focus on her is, well, inevitable isn't it and so depressing, so utterly fucking depressing.

Can someone explain to me what "mixed race" is anyway, please?
And in short, I was afraid

Its an event at the close of every school sports day where they let mums and dads both join in. Some go three legged, some use egg and spoon, some go for the more antiquated sack. Then everyone has some Britvic afterwards.

I'm pretty sure that's it, anyway.

I'm an advocator of the notion that "all men are created equal." Therefore I do not advocate the existence of a monarchy.

However, for economical reasons I say let them reign for the benefit of the state.
The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

Am I the only finding it a little odd that they keep referencing the girl’s ethnicity on the news? It’s apparently very unusual that a prince has gone for a “mixed-raced” divorced woman..  ???

There’s no “therefore” about it. It would be equally logical to conclude that the institution of monarchy remains and we should all have a day doing it. Apart from Andy of course.

Kenny wouldn't even consider accepting one, why would they offer? In fact, he's probably privately declined one already.

I've often thought that. To avoid embarrassing the royals/establishment the protocol is to first ask someone if they'd be willing to accept. I know he has an MBE but a knighthood is a whole different level of elitism that may not have sat comfortably with him.

I know we're all massively biased on this site, but trying to be as objective as I can I honestly can't believe he won't have been offered one given all he's done for football and more importantly for Hillsborough and charity work.

It's lovely that they've asked for charity donations in lieu of gifts. Should I ever become a taxpayer-funded millionaire who jets around the world for free, I'd like to think I would be as generous.
