That trailer looks EPIC. I have to say, I wasn't too excited about this when I heard about it, but that has me re-thinking.

And let's be honest, the last time HBO tackled the West, they made one of the greatest things in the history of everything.

Looks unreal to be honest. Great cast.

Nice scenery in the trailer too. When's it start?

I looked at the trailer yesterday and turned it off before the end. I knew I was going to watch so no point looking at more footage if you get me!

Cheers though.

Read the other day that his had been left behind and HBO made a change in their senior ranks and one of the tasks was the new guy in charge to pick up the pace (re. this series). It looks great.

A 1 minute trailer, does not a good series make.

It has a lot to live up to. Still, could of been worse, they could of just tried to remake the film.

Yeah, I gave up after four episodes. It was less a 70s music Mad Men  and more some bizarre Forrest Gump like story that seemed to try wedge in a wink and a nod to some real life band with a sprawling mess of a storyline

Wasn't the reason behind Boardwalk Empire finishing early because the creators of that show wanted to focus on Vinyl instead? If true that pisses me off so much as B.E was originally planned for 7 seasons.

I have heard that before and I have chosen to ignore it because I couldn't actually handle the truth if it were true. "Boardwalk Empire" was spectacular, much greater than it gets credit for on here.

Something sure seemed off about the final season & its pacing even if it was still serviceable. Shame if thats the reason why.  :o

I think it was, but it had already been linked that it was ending early. It seemed pretty obvious that the showrunners wanted to do something else, which was an absolute shame. It had plenty of legs left in it. Brilliant show.

They kept killing off fan favourites in Boardwalk and weren't replacing them well. A bit like GOT to be honest. Also I thought Nucky was a dickhead from day one and hated that the show wanted me to root for him. I wanted him dead every episode!

There is a point in that. Also, there were at least a couple of far more interesting characters in the series.

I didn't love Vinyl but I didn't hate it either. Far from it.
