I don't really get the logic here. Manager songs are no different to player songs, they're used to motivate everyone to perform not to celebrate a victory or anything. Maybe it's a cultural difference between here and Germany or something.Anyway it's not a bad idea to sing about the players instead, some of whom really deserve their own chant by now.
The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.
Was at the match and it is clear lots of fans don't know the words for the Klopp song. Can someone please put them down so we can all learn them.?I hope he gets used to hearing it as it means we are having a good season. Didn't start to be sung until we were 3-1 up.
Think the current one is great for him but how nobody knows the proper tune to "Life is Life" is beyond me.Alternatively a version of Three Little Birds re-worded for Jurgen would be deadly I think!
This one is to the tune of wet wet wet number 1 "love is all around". I feel it my fingersI feel it in my toesWhen Jurgen is around us.The noise of the kop it grows. It's written in the wind It's every red I knowSo if you really love Jurgen Stand up and let it show. chorus. You know I love you I always willYou're Jurgen Klopp its the way that I feel. There's no beginning there'll be no endIn Jurgen we trust...rely and depend.
Reckon if it was played every game during the pre-match playlist fans might cop on. I like the song and it fits. The big Germans over the pond would probably nail it but our fans always end up racing to finish chants. Proper grates me that, dunno why we do it either.
Can you imagine the fans singing that We defo need a new song for him, it's atrocious!! Really like the Guardiola song shame it's for him
So will this be getting put in the bin? I have to say i don't understand the logic of comparing it to celebrating a penalty before you scored. I suppose they don't sing the manager's name over in Germany and it's a bit out of the ordinary for him.
It's just his thoughts on the fans celebrating too early, the Klopp song gets wheeled out, fans are in full party "we got this" mode, the players start to move into showboat mode. Jurgen simply wants to fans cheering on the team until the game is absolutely wrapped up, pushing them on, cheering every move, tackle, block, save.
The chant would be sung out at 0-0 too, you know. Nothing about celebrating too early. It's a song about our manager
Klopp will just tell us to sing for the players instead Sturridge needs a song!!! Sadio seems like he could deserve one soon.
Its sung too wait for it.... FAST
"Love (KLOPP) lift us up where we belong Where the eagles cry on a mountain high Love (KLOPP) lift us up where we belong Far from the world we know, up where the clear winds blow"
Need a league titleIn an Anfield desolateWill Jurgen make a team of us yet? When in his charming specsThis charming Klopp!
Would genuinely laugh if we were 4-0 up against Hull next home game and we start singing"We won't sing your song, nah nah nah nah..."
Jesus Christ
It's not really the speed, it's the tune of the "la la la la la" part. Second "la" not held long enough.Compare this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdlkGAgiDfg to this...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEdsBrfWEto&feature=youtu.be&t=1m43s
We're not singin, we're not singin, we're not singin Jurgen Klopp....we're not singin jurgen klopp
