He has great technical ability and decent pace. But the best attribute I love about him is how he find space and moves into it to  receive ball. His first touch is always immaculate. The way he turn on the ball with his back to the goal puts him on front foot and ready attack. I was pleasantly surprised about his ability find space, turn on the ball and find pass. The fucking hammer shot is added bonus.

Now we have TWO strikers who went the roundabout way to get to Liverpool FC when we first showed interest in them.

Mo and Shaq

Basel got anyone we might want? I reckon these two could give them some sound advice.

We have so many quality players that the opposition can't keep track of them all.  I think if you're the opposition you will try to watch Mo, Bobby and Mané (amongst others) and Shaq can literally sneak in under the radar.
I don't always visit Lobster Pot.  But when I do. I sit.

No idea what the future holds with Shaq. How long he will be here. Will he be someone who starts 50 games a season for us?

What I do know is players like this win you trophies. Players who can come of the bench and change a game. Who you can rotate in with little drop off in quality.

He will almost certainly be a cult hero for the club. Perhaps a lot, lot more.

I love that he needs very little time to get into the flow of the game when he comes off the bench. He's immediately on the ball and in people's faces.

One of the things he mentioned post-match was that he was watching the game and spotting weaknesses in the opposition's shape. You'll be surprised at the number of subs that don't do that. They either just sit there and have a laugh with the other subs or just watch the game like a fan.

It says a lot about Klopp that he allowed Shaqiri the freedom - to an extent - to go and carry out his plan.

Our most important signing this summer for me, it’s players like him who can seamlessly slip in and out of the team and still maintain a high standard who wins leagues for me, i wasn’t overly enthused about his signing this summer as well, thanks for proving me wrong.

The Shaq is an elite player I don't give a fuck what anyone says, his touch is class, his movement is class, his vision is class, his ball-striking technique is even classier.

Him, Wijnaldum and Robertson all showing borderline world class form this season.. Who said moneyball isn't possible in football?

Power Cube strikes again.

Not to mention all of the footballing intelligence he brings every game. Always tries to speed things up at the right time (and slows things down on the rare occasions we need it, like away at Leicester seeing out the win).

His quick corner didn't allow them to get set, led to a rushed header as Lascelles didn't know who was around him, slotted by Shaq's pal

He could be hitting 12-15 goals this year which is insane considering he's not playing in every match
