Just looked to see if the England ladies were broadcast in the US. Looks like it is, but on ESPN2 which is ANOTHER streaming service separate to the Disney/ESPN+/Hulu bundle.

Sheesh. The split of services providing soccer on TV in the US is amazing. Can't bring myself to subscribe to another service and can't understand why ESPN would split itself into two add on services.

What?

ESPN2 is a basic cable/satellite channel offered on almost all packages. DirecTV channel 209, Verizon Fios channel 574 (HD), Comcast/Xfinity - channel 35, etc.

Can you stream it - probably - but that would mean you are subscribing to ESPN+ Streaming.

Outstanding to see Rebecca Lowe back and refreshing to have Peter Drury instead of Arlo White.
You cannot call overseas Liverpool supporters glory hunters. We’ve won one trophy this decade. If they’re glory hunters, they’re really bad ones. They’re actually journey hunters. It’s the journey and the story. Something about Liverpool has grabbed them." - Neil Atkinson (May, 2019)

I like Arlo White. Apparently he left to go commentate for LIV, for a no doubt obscene amount of money.

CBS renewed their contract with UEFA for another 6 years, now $350m/year instead of $100/year. So Paramount+ will be sticking around for the foreseeable future for us stateside LFC fans and the clubs TV income will continue to grow.

for sure.

I am getting to the point where I don't mind pirating games.

NBC/Peacock - PL
ESPN+ - Cups (at least I get a TON of other sports and other soccer leagues too)
Paramount - CL

Just on those - let's say liverpool only - it's 25/mo?

Not a big deal to me - but getting more and more annoying.

Going to rage if they raise the price while still not allowing up basic features like Pause!  Bad enough we can't rewind a bit.

Not sure I understand what you're asking. But

Peacock, ESPN+, Paramount + each have their own subscription fees.

LFCTVGO can not show live matches, other than pre-season. LFCTV does offer a free Audio only option for matches. ( I try to sync this with tv coverage. Not possible with Paramount or NBC.)

No - not asking - I'm complaining that to watch the team - we now have 3 separate subscriptions that we have to pay.

It's averaging out to about $25 a month (probably higher if you factor in that you need to have a cable subscription to have USA).

It's not a big deal - but it's getting annoying.

Ah, I see now.

There may have been someone in here, who I know well, who posted something years ago about this would happen and our matches would end up all being behind a subscription service. lol.  :P

Paramount and Peacock are $4.99 a month. ESPN+ I think is $7.99? I have it as part of the Disney bundle so really not sure. So that’s not $25 on its own. Though I’m sure all 3 will be increasing due to new CFB and NFL deals. About done with cable. My wife and kids don’t watch it at all. Have it more for my dad who is too old to figure out the Roku when he’s over.

There is a Free side for Peacock.

But to watch sports, you'll need their premium side. Either monthly or annually.

Some cable systems offer Peacock Premium as a channel as part of some package you may already have.

In case anyone wants to watch the Champions League draw tomorrow:

Thursday June 25th

Also you should be able to stream it live on Uefa.com

Expect a half hour or so of chatting before they get to the ball draw.

Not last I checked, which is the point - have to wait until the match is over + like an hour for them to get the replay up. If it’s on NBC/USA I can start from the beginning.
