Having never been a prolific goalscorer, now he's swinging them in left, right and centre and this after a particularly bad ACL injury too  :o

I'm positively surprised and impressed.

Not just yet, can't be playing three games a week, he's still being managed due to that injury. And he's been handled well.

If he continues he'll easily have double digits in goals by end of January

Incredible to see him back in this physical condition, he's getting better overall with every match and his shooting has been amazing, as others have said it's an extra and very useful dimension to our play.

You'd have a heart of stone not to be delighted for him, and he had a really good game. Doubt he will start against City if the safer bets are available, but could turn out to be a wildcard either from the start or (more likely) the bench, His comeback from that injury is already a great success, hope he can build on it further.

Thats still only 70% peeps. well, 85 % of what he was at Arsenal. but 70% of the Klopp man hes become.

Coming along very nicely, not to be rushed, final third of the year hes going to be first name on the team sheet.

Great to see that he’s getting back to the form that he had before his injury, he’s not far off that now and it’ll soon come with more game time. Will be like a new signing this season.

Looking sharper, movement, pace and power seem to be getting closer to his pre-injury levels. The shot is definitely back though! Liked how he played the #10, certainly a option now.

Still perplexed how he only scored 20 career goals across 200 appearances for Arsenal. Mind you his record in the league for us isn't much cop either yet.

A great weapon to have in our squad. He gives us something we dont have otherwise. A powerful shot from distance and also has the ability to open up space in the middle with his powerful running. Hopefully he can stay fit.

That's a shame. Was such a well taken goal last night, and on his left foot!
