Birmingham City to be deducted 9 points, not for the Grealish incident, but for breaching profitability and sustainability rules,

If only Man City could face similar punishment. :no

Bit of a lame punishment isn't it? It's not like it means they miss out on promotion. Mind, they seemed to have lost afew games in a row, maybe they can still get dragged into a relegation fight, but with so few games left, not sure that'll happen anway.

Although I guess it's nice to see a league actually taking action against teams who fail to follow rules.

Oh look, Harry Redknapp involved in another team's financial crisis. Teams should have steered clear of him with a 10 foot pole a long time ago.

That was some 60 seconds for Leeds, take the lead and Sheff Utd concede to go behind.

10 months he lasted at QPR.

Why does this baldy/ginger tosser keep getting employed by Premier/Championship teams when he's as much use as a glass eye?

Going to defend McClaren a tad here. They've been on a dreadful run but I think they're where they should be. Their squad is putrid.

He's actually a good coach. Just not a good manager. He should be cementing himself as another Brian Kidd at a big club, bringing his sometimes innovative coaching drill ideas to bear for someone else's vision.

Leeds look like they're running on fumes andbwill find a way to fuck it up, I'd put more stock in Sheffirld United to come up.

I would be happy enough for the top 3 (at the moment) Norwich, Leeds, Sheffield United to come up.

Last team I would want to see come up is Middlesbrough.  Horrible place and horrible team.

Incredible bottle job from Leeds today. 1-0 up against 10 man Wigan and they managed to lose.

It's going to be a monumental fuck up for them if they don't get promoted considering the position they were once in this season.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Villa coming up via the playoffs considering they're the form team in the league at the moment, on a great run, and looking dead certs for a playoff place. None of the other playoff hopefuls would want to face them and whoever finishes third is probably going to struggle a little bit mentally with that reality.

Leeds have Brentford and Villa before finishing up with bottom of the table Ipswich.

This was a huge loss, especially with their next two fixtures. Really rooting for Leeds to come up this season.

Edit: How are Brentford 15th?? +8 goal difference (team above them has -6 and team below them has -7!) and they've scored the 6th most goals in the league.

Very strong at home but only won twice away all season. Tough for Leeds on Monday though!

Boro in the play off places but Bristol City can go above them if they win their game in hand.

Leeds really are doing their best to not get promoted this season. Feel for them and I hope they pull it off but that was a massive mistake today to drop all 3 pts being 1-0 up and versus 10man.

And to be honest it wasnt even an undeserved loss, they looked awful today and Wigan could have won 3 or 4-1 even with the chances they kept getting gifted on the counter.

Four draws in a row for Norwich. Think that means they can’t go up today even if Leeds lose but they surely will. Leeds need a win with Sheff Utd winning earlier.

Comforting to know that the officiating in the Championship is even worse than in the Premier League. Absolute stonewaller for Bamford there.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.
