Fair result that both teams will be annoyed not to win. City missed 3 glorious chances. We missed one.

Great game, credit to both teams. Could have gone either way, draw a fair result which is fine for us.

That Lallana chance though, fucking hell, would have been some goal.

Frustrating.

They were on the ropes for 5-10 mins after we scored, but for some reason we just didn't go for the kill. A common fault this season. Then a couple of great chances missed (though for both sides to be fair).

Still, unbeaten against top 6 teams all season. Not bad.

Those two commentators on Sly Sports were unreal.

They sounded totally gutted.

1-1 probably about a reasonable result.

We missed that total sitter and they did too. Thought we looked tired - I also thought we'd power away. But wasn't to be.

Lallana missed a sitter there ffs.

My lad actually broke down in tears when Adam missed, some what of an over reaction haha but a point was the best we could of hoped for after that miss.

Hard game that.

Why do i feel disappointed?

Can we please buy a real centre forward in the summer? Firmino is definitely not the answer when it comes to converting chances!

Can was brilliant after the first 10 minutes.

Great game and a draw maybe fair result but also a missed opportunity with Citys tired legs.

Top 4 no longer in our hands as it stands!

LALLANA WHAT THE FUCK  :no :no

We gave it all we had, a fantastic game to watch but it feels like 2 points dropped in the end. I felt we had more opportunities on the counter to win it and should have got another one. United win their 2 games in hand and they pass us.

Wouldnt worry about Utd, they have still got to play Chelsea, Spurs, City and Arsenal and only the Chelsea one is at home.

As bad a miss as you will see all season however City had chances to steal the 3 points too.

1 point is good against a rival away from home.

We just to capitalise now on having an 'easy' run in.

Would have taken a draw before the game, but that Lallana miss was truly gutting.

Why do we look so tired ?

It's simple. We don't rotate. We play the same players week-in week-out.

Good performance. Fair draw given the good chances and penalty claims both had.

Special mention to Emre Can who was great i thought.

A bit worried about our attack though. Coutinho, Firmino and to a lesser extent Mane just all look off their best at a stage of the season when we really need them.

Fair result, although both teams really could have won that game but instead decided to miss easy chances. A draw is good enough for us, plus Milner keeps his astonishing record of never losing a league match in which he has scored a penalty.

Feels weird to say we were a little lucky to draw after some of the chances we missed and penalties we could've had but they were just that bit more creative. Our central defence really is poor at times, rarely in control and poor at even the basics like clearing the ball.

Decent enough point and in theory we've got a good run-in now with very few injury/fitness concerns.

Keep in mind their game in hand on us is away at Man City. They will drop points themselves.

City are a proper Frankenstein's monster of a team. That attack grafted onto that defence.

Overall, just a bonkers match. We should have seen it out really but City created more than their fair share of quality chances in the first half. Technically the glass is never half-full. 50% of it is air.
