Pretty much the perfect draw that. Can play the kids and still stand a decent chance of progressing.

I'll guarantee if crowd's were allowed in, we'd have been drawn at home. Regardless a good opportunity to give the squad a run out, we'll need them at some stage with the season being a month shorter.

Good draw whoever we get, lower league opposition that the younger lads can have a go against, and still probably win/control the game. Even better if a couple of squad players need minutes. Let's win it boys.

I think with one leg for the semi (and no World Club Cup) Klopp might take it more seriously and use the early rounds as a chance to give minutes to players who need them like Henderson and Origi, Matip, Trent who didn't really feature much in pre-season and then we've got promising young players to blood in and the new lad at left back.  Win this tie, get a winnable 4th round game and suddenly you're two games from the final.

Hope it's Bradford. I have been to Valley Parade many time sin my life due to a family link with the city. We've had a small handful of players end up at Bradford in recent years - Robbie Threlfall, Stephen Darby was captain and Ste Warnock effectively started and ended his career there..

If ever there's a year to withdraw from this pointlessness, this is it.

Disagree. Good chance to blood the younger members of the first team, give main players who need it some game time and give either Karius or Adrian a game.

I still want to win everything, so I'll be happy if we can win domestic cups to add to something bigger.

Perfect draw for once, exactly what we needed. It will be a good occasion for the youngsters to shine and maybe for some fringe players to be put on the shop window and make an impression.

We shouldn't have any trouble against either of these. With single leg semis it's essentially 3 more games and you're in the final, seems like a very winnable trophy this year if we get nice draws and Klopp can be arsed. Tough schedule all around though so wouldn't blame him if not.

Or a great opportunity to develop players and win something we last won in 2012.

There is another option. Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple.

Would be nice if both clubs took it as an opportunity to push Steven Darby's charity/foundation if it's Bradford.

Remember going to Valley Parade to watch the Reserves when I was a kid. Absolutely fucking shocking stadium but what a night. Had a photo with big Erik Meijer which I was chuffed with, until I managed an autograph and a photo with God on the way out.

As with last season, it will be the U23s, squad players and a couple of seniors. If you think of the progress that the likes of Jones, Williams, Elliott and Brewster have shown, we have a great chance of going far in this competition.

Aside from any future potential loans, this is a great opportunity to bring in Karius/Adrian, Williams, Koumetio, Hoever, Tsimikas, Jones, Elliott, Shaqiri, Brewster, Origi and the other youth/fringe players. Great chance for first team minutes for someone like Koumetio who's impressed in pre season.

A nice cup to add to the collection, and a chance to strip City of their only crown from last season...

Same approach as last year. Completely leave out the 11 that will start the next game and put out the best starting 11 and bench possible with whoever is remaining.

Probably give Lincoln a miss. Last time I was there I got bitten on the leg by a dog. When I said to the to the woman holding the lead  "Your dog's just bitten me" she just said "It's not my dog" and walked off. Charming.
