At Paris Orly, missed flight to Porto, cheapest flights there are over £350 now :/

Stuck

If you have a Paris>Porto return with the same airline, contact them and explain too.
Some airlines have a no show clause and will cancel your inbound flight if you miss the outbound.

2 stops on the metro mate, not worth walking it. After they finally let us out last year it was dead easy. Back in the hotel bar then for some drinks and scran

Can deffo vouch for the scran and beer in the bar for after the match

Agree with Nicko it's probably 2 mile walk to the ground or a 10 minute metro

If you can't be arsed walking to the main area for reds meeting then metro from 24 de Agosto to Trinidade, then metro to Sao Bento

Scrap tonight but get your plans in order and tickets sorted. Get out of the airport for a cheaper hotel and have a good time in Paris. (Or sleep in the airport if you're not bothered).
Tomorrow - loads of direct flights to Porto - from Orly and CDG.  Ryanair, Transavia, Vueling, TapAir to name a few. All look under £100.

All is not lost here mate. Far from it. It's going to cost you over £100 and a wasted hotel night but by no means terrible - and you could end up having a good time still.

The first legs will take place on Tuesday April 30 and Wednesday May 1, with the fixtures being reversed a week later on Tuesday May 7 and Wednesday May 8.  I'm not sure how long after the match tonight it will take to confirm the dates?

Seriously thinking about going to Barcelona if we get through on the off chance I might get a ticket in the home end.  Never done a European away before, but do many reds travel without tickets?

The announcement will be at some point tomorrow, not after the match tonight.

There’s a couple of people at the main square under umbrellas. Avenida and Grupo Celeste. Only bit in the square with cover. I think there’s a few bars down on the river front with umbrellas up as well

Yeah, quite a few do.

On the proviso that we get through, Ajax are the only team with a game scheduled for the Sunday before the first legs, so I'm hoping it's the Tuesday as I've already booked flights.

think the games in between the semis will cause us to be the wednesday first leg

Ajax are in a c up final on the 5th may so will push their match to wednesday youd think - so theyd be tuesday / wednesday, meaning we'd be wednesday / Tuesday

If they leave Ajax there then we have to move about five Premier League games.

They have already moved Ajax games (like, away from the week end) this season to help them in Europe.

Still swap us and City

Spurs due to play Monday night so either put them at 12pm Sunday or move City to Monday and Spurs to the Sunday slot

A mess!

They wont move a nations cup final though so it will be premier league shuffles surely?!

Found a bar around the corner from the ground after the game when it was raining for a change in Porto. Was 6 Euro’s for 5 pints of Sagres. Was still in there gone midnight.

Depending on when you went. 20 mins for us but not too bad. Posh hotel!! Well, until it got taken over by reds :D

The bloke who stopped us as we went in.... I thought he was after tickets until he asked to see our collections emails! Dressed all in black with no ID which I thought was a bit odd. Didn't have to give him anything and clearly legit but I didn't know that when he stopped us.  Three ID checks though before the table where the TO staff had put out tickets into envelopes and you went to the table for your ID no one at a time. Was well organised to be fair.
