I just saw Ed Woodward going into Ladbrokes with the United payroll, he told me this has been their funding plan to pay for next season by lumping 50 million quid on a 6/1 outsider. It iwas all planned to lose to Everton so the odds would rocket and they can afford to pay Ronaldo to return next year.

They were hiding under the pretence that it was all the manager and these players were fine. But now with a combination of more shit buys (Sanchez especially), another manager sacked, the clueless structure they have , their only two high profile players wanting to leave and the chasm between them and the top two then its dawned on them how far they are.

Its an example of a club that hasnt got its structure right. They need to buckle down for the long term because as Solksjaer said, they have no chance for challenging for the title any time soon.
