Wonder was it the same guy next to us.... doing the airplane gesture all game too. Also lads in our seats when we got there and refused to move, they ended up breaking the seat we were supposed to have. When I tried to call them out I just got dogs abuse off them.

I've asked the question via live chat.  I was advised to report it to Greater Manchester Police and Manchester United, but that LFC wouldn't do anything with my report or wish to investigate or take any action against the individuals.  I relayed that it wasn't right that the essential line from LFC was that they wouldn't be interested in investigating or taking any action themselves, but the buck remained firmly passed.

It was block 333 quite near the back, made a note of his seat so can pass that along. Worse thing was he was with his young kid too, some role model

Got a bit ugly and they relented in the end. It was pointed out to them it was a breach of human rights. Stop people going to the toilet but do nothing about tragedy chanting.

I've been there when there was no hold back in the Rafa era and there was killings after. GMP did fuck all as the mancs picked off our lot.

But we’re universally expecting some of the well publicised incidents from United fans yesterday to see thorough action taken, but when our own dickheads behave the same way, a quiet word will do?  Anyone behaving as per VVM’s initial post frankly deserves banning by Liverpool.

No, it says cup final Saturday will be exclusive of PL games. All PL games will be Sunday and potentially one on Monday I guess.

seen a lot of lower league fans fuming over this on twitter, saying it's all Klopp's fault etc. bizarre imo. like the whole football pyramid is broken - lower league clubs shouldn't be reliant on *maybes* like a potential fa cup replay to survive. these fans need to zoom out a bit, even if ultimately their issues are valid. it's like some of these fans enjoy the stories of their club nearly 'going under' but being saved. never see the same fighting for fairer distribution of £.

For communities in a cost of living crisis and concerns regarding carbon foot print, I think this is the best thing. Perhaps their could be a fairer distribution of the gate/tv money choice of home/away for clubs further down the pyramid.
