He's dangerous at set plays, he defends both his right back and midfield, he'll pass it out of midfield, he'll find a good pass and occasionally goes on a run and beats everyone before shooting.

So far this season as influential as when we signed Gary Mac on a free.

I'm delighted we got him.

I know some will probably think I'm crazy (because of Sturridge, and Suarez's performances), but he was my MOM v Sunderland yesterday.

Guys mental.

Did you see after Liverpool scored their third and Rogers called Toure for a quick celebration and he turned round babbling away like he was possesed. Hes the African Phil Cool of facial expressions.

We all dream of a team of Toures.

Absolutely pissed myself laughing at that...couldn't tell wtf it was about but seriously funny.

I told you lot that this guy was top, top quality when you were skeptical.

I guess now you see for yourselves.  ;D

Another case of mismanagement by Mancini.

Every time he played for us, he showed why he's an invincible. I think he'd still be a starter for us if the diet pills incident never occured, smh :/. He came back and just couldn't displace Lescott who was in good form..but Mancini seemed to almost forget he existed. Very strange.

and he's really fast fucker when it needed
Of course, he's a Touré brother!

In one of my early posts, I commented how unlike other 30-summat year olds, he's still got excellent pace.

He outpaced Miyaichi, one of the fastest players in the league when we played Bolton. That day Kolo played right back, and he was doing tricks, stepovers, dribbling his way into the box, popping off shots, and just being an overall threat.

Top quality player, and well rounded to.

One of the best experienced ball-playing centre halves you could ask for! Always passes the ball forward, and can manoeuvre with it under pressure.

You did indeed.  The fact you still think so highly of him speaks volumes.

I was worried when we lost Reina who as going to be the positive, up-beat character in the squad.  Kolo more than fits the bill.

How can one man be so bestial and yet so adorable at the same time?

I mean, as much as I'm digging Sakho right now, if he turned up one night in your back garden, you'd very quietly barricade all the doors & windows and just cower under your bed, praying that he went and devoured some other poor family. If it was Kolo, you'd go out there in your dressing gown with a saucer of milk, and give him a little tickle.

Any time we sign someone on a free, there's always a few shouts of "he'll be a cult hero", I remember the same noises for players like Voronin and Jovanovic.

Kolo Toure is that cult signing, I could sing his praises till I was blue in the face, such a brilliant player and person.

Is he some sort of throw back? Not a 'modern footballer' in the slightest.

He came to us for reportedly half the money he was getting at City, and I can't remember the last time I saw a player enjoying himself so much playing for us. Maybe God in his second coming?

Looks like he's a player that needs to be needed and loved, and we're giving it to him in spades.
