He spent the rest of the afternoon poorly trying to redeem himself.

Shout outs to the two lads who kicked the ball in their own faces within about a minute of each other.

Shoutout to the lad who managed to get the ball onto the balcony of that restaurant from the other side of the square. The lad who's meal it landed in wasn't too happy like haha.

Last night for no apparent reason winds of change started repeating on my mind. Then i remembered we went to some karaoke bar (we needed another drink in the early hours of the morning and we found this place). I do also remember they put YNWA on for us. We were obviously very good at that one.

I blame the free Smirnoff session earlier.

Glad I'm not the only one still having random thoughts about Basel.

That bar sounds like the place we stumbled across....was the barman wearing a FC
??? Basel waistcoat,  lots of footy scarves hanging up....?

Actually, i think (vague recollections) it was near the main square where we were kicking the footy about in the main square before the Robocop clones swooped down on us. I think it was upstairs above one of those bars. There was a bit of security at the ground level, who did a cursory glance at us and let us in. I don't remember any scarves just a dodgy looking bar maid. For some reason i offered to buy her a drink and she made herself a lovely cocktail and charged me about 20 Swiss for the privilege. It was worth the rendition of YNWA and a few extra hours to top up the alcohol levels. Id stay out all night if i could but they called time and we had to leave. Oh well, looking forward to the next one.

Your bar sounds better. now you have to remember where it was.

Wish id done that beers in four countries thing, well done to those that did. Warm Kronenburg from the co-op was minging!
