Can they form a guard of honour or will it collapse at the last minute.

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

There's nothing as gutting as coming close to a league title and not win it. I always find it worse than losing a cup final.
Much more gutting when it's in your hands with 3 games to go rather than 5 points behind though. Still gutting I suppose.

Even if it's finishing 3rd to Spurs??

Yes finishing below spurs is not as bad as getting beat to the title by leciester after finishing ahead of everyone else.

Pulis saw an opposition team playing the kind of football he despises - entertaining, quick, incisive, and that so enraged him that he managed to conjure up the mother of all halftime motivational speeches.

Glad he did, although he's still a twat.

but surely being beaten to the title by leicester AND finishing below spurs has got to be even worse than that? i know LFC fans are in no position to carp on this point, but we were never considered contenders for the title this season.  arsenal though...

Your relief comes over loud and clear....Mate a few weeks ago was sweating on Spurs winning the league...I pointed out that wasn't our job , it was Arsenal and Chelsea fans to lose sleep....anyhoo!...looks like your in for a good nights kip.

Huge sigh of relief, disaster averted, hopefully normal business resumed for Spurs next season .

On a result basis yes, on an emotional level no, it's spurs who missed out on the title, we never got close.

It will be interesting to see how they react next season.....

I suspect they will keep doing well... They're a team, very few stars, it just works....

That being said, champions league will bring more challenge in Europe, and I think the other sides at the top end will not be so lax next season....

I can't see the wheels falling off, I really can't...

Sky are still showing ours and Spurs run in, surely they're better off showing the relegation battle if Leciester win the league at old Trafford.

20 - Tottenham Hotspur didn’t attempt a single shot on target in the match against West Brom after the 20th minute. Shy.

you could still catch them, if they lose to Chelsea next week and you beat (Norwich?) they could go into meltdown.  Two points behind with two to play.  Would be funny as fuck

Yacob's saved his bacon there. A vast majority of players would've rolled around on the floor after getting whacked like that. Wouldn't have made a massive difference if he'd been sent off because they didn't win anyway but Tottenham should've been playing with 10.

Like we had no chance at 60 minutes and 1-3 down to Dortmund?

He's got to say that.

Yes you did. Before the United game you were favourites in my eyes until you gave your biggest bottle job performance I think I've seen in Prem history.  Your victory over Leicester should have pushed you on to win the title.  But you bottled it .... again.
