Melbred and I would be pairing up for this draft. You can put us down as a team Chakan.

So the rules are just no more than two from any decade?
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Just to clarify, this means that they are born in that decade, not played through that decade?

What decades did we agree on in the end?

Can't believe I'm 2nd pick. Spoilt for choice.

We decided not to restrict it to certain decades but you can only pick a maximum of 2 players born in each one.

Sorry, is it possible to opt out of this? Bit late notice I know but not sure I can spare the time and I'm sure there will be a few willing people in reserve? Happy to be an assistant if that helps!

What? That's bonkers. Some people do have lives and jobs and things, y'know, and might not be able to check RAWK every 15 minutes in case someone's made a pick... Or is this the 'Decades/Attention Defecit Disorder' draft?

I'm with blurred. Think 2 hours is reasonable.

I could do with some back-up Nick. I'm not even sure of my first pick yet. I'm not going to be around much on Wednesday too, so it'd definitely be good to have someone around to help with that.

Happy to team up Betty but don't want to leave the organisers in the lurch! Still need a replacement for me if I do drop out. Any takers?

At least it'll be fairer now that I am not playing, as voters can't spoil it for everyone, by just voting me out, and thus eliminating a great team, leaving the victor of the competition feeling hollow.

Can you start a Decades Draft discussion thread Chakan? You could offer Nick's place in the first post. Might alert more people to the new draft too.

Are we picking from 10am to 12am?

If so, with a 2 hour deadline we're at least guaranteed 7 picks a day.

I'm happy with the 1 hour deadline though - keeps it moving.

It's 1 hour, and Vishwa has had an hour so it's Psycho Sexys go.

Can someone PM him

I reckon we should be lenient on the first day. Vishwa hasn't even been online since 7pm yesterday, so he probably doesn't even know we've started.

Is it possible to get another person in at this stage? I mean, I'll take his place if it makes it a lot easier for the organiser, and if it's alright with prateek of course.
