I got mine yesterday, got the stadium shirt. I am usually a medium, bought a medium and it fits fine, I wouldn’t say it’s a tight or slim fit and I’ve got a bit of a beer belly. I compared the red to last seasons and it’s definitely a different shade and a little bit lighter but not by much. I must say I don’t care for the teal trim or the white stripe down the sides but it’s not to bad. Let’s hope Nike get the kits in all the doors they promised and we rake it in.

What’s meant to happen on today’s launch, just the release of the other kits?

Think just a proper launch on the Nike football site and that if I'm honest. There's a little video I just watched

Have people had a chance to compare the quality of the stadium vs. vapor jerseys? Fair play to the people buying the vapor jersey, it'll help pay for all the agent fees. Do people understand the jersey may not be for everyday or every weekend wear though?

Vapour is literally extra money for technical fabric/wick-sweating. It looks like it's an "extra pattern" and so people assume it's just aesthetics but it's more than that. Unless you're hellbent on having an exact replica or sweat a lot, just get the stadium one. It's also obviously more form-fitting too.

Oh yes! I like that.

Does a much better job of explaining the "Tell me never" line than the official marketing department bullshit. It's still a crap line, but at least it makes a kind of sense when presented that way.

Saw a rough cut of the advert back in February and it was fucking woeful, fake scouse accent on the narrator and I'm pretty sure the tag line was "Just Do It? We do what we Want". I was dreading seeing this so I'm grateful they've got the tone right at least.

Although I say Nike, not Nikee, I'm not sure you can use the English language as proof of how a company decides to pronounce its name when we don't even have our own words that look alike sounding alike! See cough, bough, through, rough, as just one example. ;D

That's a brilliant ad.

Very Nike.

The first ever recorded pronunciation of 'Nike' (and so the correct one) was on the 3rd of September 1885, in the bar of The Palace Saloon, in Hill Valley, California.

That pronunciation was 'Nee-Kay'.

So there.
