No as you approach departures for both terminals it goes down to 1 lane. All to do with the expansion on t2 so changing all road routes. Been up there every morning this week with work and been bumper to bumper.

The Red Zone will be organized in Shevchenko Park. (city center)

The viewing zone of the match (on the street) will be in the old part of Kiev.
The contactor area (PODOL) ONLY THERE WILL BE THE TRANSFER OF THE MATCH ON A LARGE SCREEN!

Important information for World Choice Sports Dreamliner flights.

Just off the phone with them. (Alan_X)

Issue affects three Dreamliner flights tomorrow and Saturday. No other flights affected.

No expectation of any cancellations.

Issue is the number of private jets (60+) taking up slots.

Peter Moores in meeting with Kiev airport and expected to be resolved in a couple
Of hours.

Once resolved they will text all passengers with flight details and close phone lines to focus on issuing e-tickets.

These shuttles from the airport, anyone know if the shuttle from Boryspil Terminal D to Shevchenko Park is running tomorrow? Or only on match day?

Mentions in the UEFA fan information (https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/assets.liverpoolfc.com/assets/Supporters-Leaflet-UEFA-CL-Final-18.pdf) that on 25th and 27th that there's a shuttle to Boryspilki Metro, so you can get a Metro into the city from there. Also mentions in a separate section that there's a shuttle to Shevchenko Park, but it doesn't specify which days. Our apartment is close to the park so would be perfect and save us messing about with a taxi.

You a can also get a special 24-hour Sky Bus service from Terminal D into the heart of the city for around Ł3 (100 UAH). Tickets can be bought at the ticket offices in Terminal D or from the driver, and services run every 15 minutes during the daytime, and every 30-45 minutes at night.

For the Champions League final, this service will also stop at the official Liverpool supporters meeting point in Taras Shevchenko Park, just south of the city centre, where there will be food, drink and entertainment.

Liverpool fans should get the bus back to the airport after the match from Shevchenko Park too. They will run every 15 minutes until 5am local time from the 30 platforms in place outside the red university building on Volodymyrska vul. Fans must show boarding passes for their flights to get on the return bus service.

I know we can't rely on the club to sort everybody's travel arrangements , but the extent of their input was to ask TC to arrange a few charter flights - a grand total of 4 if memory serves .

So for all the noise from the club about how much our support means , they didn't exactly go out of their way to help us get to Kiev .

Anybody flying through Turkey at all? I'm flying in the morning from Stansted to Berlin, then Berlin to Istanbul, Istanbul to Ankara and then Ankara to Kiev (right mission but can't wait!) Anyway just trying to find out if I need to get this Visa or not if I'm not leaving the airport? Remember when we went in 2005 they waived the Visa regulations. Anybody know?

If its classed as a connecting flight then no - If you have to leave the airport and come back in then yes as you're technically entering the country

You'll need to catch the Skybus from the main train station - costs a couple of quid .

Taxi might be the best option - which means using Ukranian currency, or possibly Dollars / Euros.

Easy to find - looks about a 20 minute walk from shevchenko park.

If you open a map , you will see the station to the left of the park ( you can't miss it ). You need to make your way to the other side of the tracks to get the bus ( over walkway and bus is pretty much opposite the entrance ).
