His accuracy is amazing considering how scrappy this was at times, the fact we had a break and this was his PL debut. Tsimikas and Mane has their bromance, Robbo and Diaz seem to have their's! ;D
Like I said- made everything look so easy.

Oliver and that double yellow, wtf.

It’s actually strange one, I thought if both incidents happened ten minutes apart both could of been yellows.  I think the passage of play has maybe clouded people’s views.

How the fuck was that not a penalty on Salah? Fuck this league and the standard of refereeing and fuck the media in England for not showing the bs decisions that go against us.

You can do anything to someone after the shot is away. It has been that way since I started watching football. Have never understood it. You could stab someone right after they shoot and nothing would happen. Makes absolutely zero sense.

Glad we beat those pricks. Fucking Schmeichel. Watch him let three soft ones in vs West Ham at the weekend.  :wanker

that's exactly what I thought, in isolation both were yellow cards it's only because it happened within 5 seconds of each other that BT are going off on one.

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

If we were a tad sharper and their keeper was off his game that could of been six or seven.  They had one shot on target.

Seemed like after their debacle at the weekend Leicester set up not to get hammered, but could still have been hammered if not for their keeper. Even at 1-0 it felt relatively comfortable.

Take that Schmeichel's son, ya c*nt.

We created bitter old man Schmeichel.  He was offered to us, he wanted to come, we said no thanks. Never forgave us.

Anyway, it should still have been 5-0.

Oh, and Lookman will suit us nicely if big Div leaves. What's that you say? RB Leipzig? Hold on, I think we have their phone number somewhere .    .    .

Dislike Leicester as a club more than I thought I would. Fans are horrible maggots with delusions of grandeur. And less said about that gormless twat in goal the better. To think I actually cheered for them when they won the league.
Comfortable routine win against an ordinary team. All we can do is keep doing what we are doing and keep the pressure on the oil cheats. They're going to drop a few points I think between now and May. Just need to keep within touching distance of them

Great. Lovely link up with Robertson, pressed well, worked hard, didn't shirk out of tackles and was unlucky not to score a couple.

not sure, I can see why it's caused controversy because both cards happened in the same phase of play, both were petulant acts with no attempt to play the ball, had there been no second foul, Oliver books him for the first...

I watched it on NBC and Jim Proudfoot (think it was) said that could be a penalty and VAR are having a look at it, then he said it was check over. Not sure if BT said anything

Weirdly looks like he was here for a preseason. Slotted in, Robbo's best friend. Loads of great highlights bits, loads of potential for more to come. Was jumping back up after every tackle. I was kind of stunned by it at half time. He's gonna make a big impact. Wasn't stellar like, but man he's good.

I always think he's a very lucky keeper. He has cardboard hands and is always parrying the ball into dangerous areas. Another Pickford.

Yeah. Like, were they going to try and attack or just defend all night and escape with a low score defeat? I guess they succeeded then. Cowards.

Yup; got to agree mate  :thumbup
He only joined us on the 30th of January.
He has shown Jurgen enough in training to earn a place in the starting line-up.
That's good enough for me; and he showed tonight that Jurgen was right  8)

But should he not have called the first back though?

No because Wolves had the advantage and were looking dangerous. Martinelli knew that Wolves were building a dangerous attack and so he decided to foul to break up the play. The ref got the decision right.

Neat. Thanks all.
Was exhilirating mate. He is clearly a cut above. He made everything look so easy!
We was scrappy and in general, the game itself was scrappy and not at the usual pace, but Diaz was performing at November/December levels compared to everyone else on the pitch. He looked 100% a player that completed his preseason, completed his first few months of bedding in under Klopp and fit like a glove. He didn't even look like breaking any sweat! Endured a few tough tackles, but took them like a boss and was back on his feet in seconds.
He's deceptively strong (I was massively surpised at how strong he actually is), with extremely quick acceleration.
He would've scored, but Schmeichel was brilliant tonight.
I don't want to add pressure, but this guy looks like another Mo/Luis/Torres/Mane type signing. He'll be brill!

Considering the break, his debut in a tougher, faster league and all... his pass accuracy stat is amazing. Eat your heart out!:

Quote
Luis Dνaz’s PL debut vs. Leicester by numbers:

• 91% pass accuracy
• 68 touches
• 9 touches in opp. box
• 8 duels won
• 5 take-ons completed
• 4 crosses
• 4 shots
• 2 shots on target
• 1 chance created

We've only bought one player but feels like we've bought a few. The lack of back up for Trent will concern me for months tho. Fully deserved result. Already want another kick off.
