Terrible performance defensively. Spurs missed chance after chance and should have been out of sight. Despite what everyone says about them they’re a very strong side. Maybe the fourth best in the league even though the table doesn’t reflect that just yet.

Don’t really get the complaints about the Kane red card. A stonewall red but he doesn’t get sent off for those. Anyone who’s watched Spurs in the last few years would know that. Robertson’s was a deserved red. We had a clear penalty denied to us at a vital time though.

The league is going to be a stretch too far for us this season I reckon. 3 points behind City and they have some ridiculous fixtures coming up while we lose Keita, Salah and Mane to AFCON. Not to mention they're in the middle of their annual 15 game winning streak or whatever it is.

Said in the h/t thread that Tierney would decide this, had it written all over it. The man shouldn't officiate in the top flight again. The biggest irony is that he actually made the right call initially with the Robbo tackle, a yellow card all day. VAR has a LOT to answer for, especially as Kane could have broken Robbo's leg if he didn't have the quick thinking to jump out of the way of it. I thought he rules were that even if the player manages to get out of the way, a studs up tackle that connects is a straight red?

Anyway, the less said about the game the better, we crafted the lead out of nothing but did our best to chuck it away. In the circumstances we're lucky to have the point.

Tough game, easily could have gone either way. Considering the midfield we had, alongside their performances (a lot of hospital balls leaving our defenders at sea) happy with a point. Trent’s influence on the team is stepping up every game now.
