I must admit, until our first goal I was as nervous as fuck. I just felt Arsenal were going to match us. There was no evidence of what would transpire before Arteta lost his rag.

But from then we dominated, played some slick football and put in a general performance that makes it difficult to chose a motm.
There was loads of contenders besides Mo.

It doesn't matter that Taki's goal lost me 130 notes, I was made up for the lad.

I wasn't there today, but it must have been great for the faithful, great win.

Up the Reds.

Excellent result and great performance. Thought it might have been a tricky one today, particularly after the West Ham result, but that was the perfect response. Fabinho is so good and remains possibly the most intelligent midfielder I've ever seen. Couldn't stop smiling after Minamino's goal too.

Tsimikas' wingplay is excellent! Very intelligent. That includes his delivery, his timing as well as his runs in-behind/or when he decides (in a timely manner) to interplay with the forwards.
After Arteta's outburst, everyone in hthe stadium went into overdrive.

Not quite as funny as when Lampard started the row on the sideline and Trent larruped the free kick into the top corner. But not that far off. And the game ended in pretty much the same way.

Taki took his goal well. And you could see how much it meant to him to get a goal in a big game like this.

I was thinking this week, surely we can’t thrash them at Anfield again, and we did.

Was a bit concerned for the first 15mins or so with their 'semi-press'. The Arteta/Klopp theatrics really worked in our favour. Rolled them over in the 2nd half.

Not really one here to pay too much attention to the pundits, but thought that Souness pointing out the difference in GD pre-game was pretty telling.

Dropped too many points in the league up to now. Here's hoping we go on a run.

It’s testament to the recent success of this club that a 4-0 over Arsenal feels routine. We should never take this for granted but to match the high bar we’ve come to expect we need to keep this level up all the way to May.

A good performance. Took a while to get going but I like the patience.

Arsenal were quite effective at stopping us for a while and passed nicely out of defense quite often, but had nothing really. Was concerned that Ramsdale was going to have a blinder and stop us be we just kept probing. Looking forward to watching it back, I suspect it will look quite dominant compared to stressing in the ground!

Tsimikas was excellent both defensively against Saka and going forward.
Thought Ox had a largely good game too. Thiago looks like such a great footballer, but sometimes seems to be off the pace, guess he needs a run of games.

And I wish Sadio would get more protection from refs. He gets kicked and pulled and as soon as he reacts is booked. Stupid reaction, but its becoming a common target.
Mo is constantly fouled but gets nothing too. Oliver was generally good, but there were a couple of times he should have warned the Arsenal players and then booked them after they persisted.

Yeah Ramsdale started getting a bit cocky. When I saw him starting to laugh about after yet another worldie, I had a feeling it was about to go sideways for him. Stuff like that rile up the other team.
