Try e-mailing the hotel direct instead of through an affiliated website.

hotel.park@siol.net

'Allocations' might be full, but the hotel itself may not be. Good luck. :)

All this talk of hotels is making me jealous.
Could have afforded it if it wasn't for the bitching flight transfer fee!
Anyone in the £8 a night hostel?
Come on , you'll love it  ;D
Plenty of room left as well...........

Stanley -
There was room earlier, but there must have been a mad rush for them cos I checked availability and they're fully booked now!
There are other hostels - search Google, but to be honest I haven't found any availability.
I know there are rooms left at the Best Western but you're looking at about 80 euros.
You can use this link for any cancellations or to contact them direct:

Aiden you don't need teh confirmation number if you have the card details that you used to book the flight.

Cheers for that.

Wish I'd checked rather than making the trip home and back over my two hour lunch break  ;D

Olly, yeah, deffo going to go, bank just increased my overdraft my £500 so can't think of any better way to blow it.

Dan, I have IM'ed you to ask how exactly you are going to sort this one.

Just rang ryanair to change the other Aidan's flight dates. Difference between the flight prices is now £125!!
All hotels are booked up as well, and so I may be on the crounge for a bit of carpet space on someone's floor!

Let me know what you get sorted Aidan.

Cheers Jimbo will start looking now, don't fancy doing what we did in Auxerre and finding a nightclub and staying there until 1st train in the morning. Not recommended.

Am booked on the same flights as Dan, Matt et al, whether they like it or not.

Was cheaper to book new flights and just forget about the old ones.  So if anybody wants a flight to Trieste just let me know and I can change my details for the £15/£30 into their name  :-[

Same here.  Two trips to Trieste on the 14th Oct coming back 16th October for sale at £15 each (or whatever it costs to get a name change) hate to see it wasted.

Ok. We'll get a  five seater car as it looks like me terri + dan_w for this one plus your goodselves. Suggestions welcomed for the cheapest option that can be taken across the border.

Dunno about a people carrier option if there are about 8 people needing to share costs.
