Is there any reason why the WBA should be re arranged? Cheers.

Someone has already worked out.

Everton will likely have a Europa League game the previous Thursday (If they get through the qualifier)
Therefore their game against us will be Sunday

Meaning the WBA game should be Wednesday

I don't see it getting changed personally, but you never know!

It won't be on TV but it will probably be moved to the Sunday if we lose our CL qualifier and drop into the EL.

I cant remember if any English teams played on a Sunday in the past, so would anybody know if there is any chance the Man U game can be moved to the Sunday baring in mind its a Champions League week to follow!  I'm guessing it will stay on the Saturday with an early or 5.15 ko

Given this fixture was played midweek last season without any issues...could Friday night be a possibility?

There aren't any Friday night games after internationals.

Seeing as another set of TV games will be announced before a ball is even kicked this season... why don't they just announce the entire batch of televised games up until November when they do August\September as well?

Or am I missing something as to why that's not possible?

Not sure but would certainly help, as rail companies already announced cheap fairs for October and some of November.

I like the way they didn't consider the prospect that Chelsea may be in the Europa League in the release notes!

Well, they won't be - not in November anyway when the group stages of the CL are in full swing!

Lime Street main line station is completely closed for a few weeks in September/October.

The routes it is giving you, will be arriving on Lime Streets Merseyrail line, which is only a very short distance from the main concourse. Or alternatively, there will be trains into Liverpool South Parkway, where you can connect to Liverpool Central, Moorfields, and even directly to Sandhills.

Any best guesses on what time the derby will kick off?  Booked a flight forgetting the game would probably be moved to the 10th.  :duh

Should be ok for a 12:00 or 13:30ko. 4:00 is tight but doable, just. I think I remember Liverpool kicking off at 4:30 some time last December - any chance of that again this year?

That won't be announced until mid October when the December & January TV games are published. My guess would be Sky do a double header with the United-City game on the Sunday.

But when they do trebles they were 12, 2.15 and 4.30 ko last year so presumably they could do that again on the odd occasion!

This is my fear.
May just take the hit on the flight. It's for a stag do. I don't really know the guy and I'm pretty sure he only invited me because I'm related to his wife to be.
