Anyone know who is southampton's first choice keeper? Thanks

Hard to know. And hard to know with Burnley too, I had thought it would be Heaton!

So Ayoze Perez.... he will play wide in a front 3 with Vardy?

Heaton has gone to Villa, Perez has been playing upfront with Vardy pre-season with Tielemans in behind them

Well that's two forumites off my Thoughts & Prayers list!

 ;D

It'll be Angus Gunn I'd imagine - they've been trying to shift McCarthy or Forster.

It’s really hard to judge defenses this year. Chelsea under Lampard is a risk, Spurs defence looks lightweight and Arsenal/United are unpredictable too.

Looks to be good value in Leicester and Everton defenders though.

So who will be playing full back for Spurs? Trippier gone and Rose not wanted. Aurier at right back but not sure if he’s fit. I think Foyth has played there. Ben Davies is a doubt at left back too I think.

Most people seem to have one of Coleman/Digne. Problem is Everton don't look like scoring many and Zouma/Gueye was the rock of their defensive stability last year.

Think Foyth will probably play right-back for Spurs, but will be Walker-Peters you would have thought. I've currently got a Chelsea defender (Azpilliecueta) but I think someone like Pedro is probably a better shout from Chelsea. Definitely some tasety prices at Chelsea tho.

Gunn is probably the Southampton goalie and is a good shout imo, but they have us and Ubited in the first 4 games so you need a rotater . Looking to bring him in later.

Walker-Peters seems to have the edge on Foyth who also took a mild knock last game. Considering that as hes fairly cheap.

I have a gut feeling for Abraham taking his chance.

I looked at a couple of their friendly starting line ups and Zouma was starting.

I looked at a couple of their friendly starting line ups and Zouma was starting.

Here is where I have reached so far:

GK: Pope or Heaton (Button)

DEF: VVD Stones Zouma or Walker-Peters (2 of O'Connell Guilbert Lescalles)

MID: Salah Barkley Richarlison B Silva (Dendoncker)

FWD: Auba Vardy Jota

If I downgrade the Zouma/Walker Peters slot and choose all 3 O'Connell Guilbert Lescalles, I can have Giroud for Jota..

Plenty of goals in that front line!

Most of my defence is full backs, I have TAA, Digne and Chilwell at the minute. Will probably work Zinchenko in there too.

I think he is too expensive personally. I'm tempted by a Chelsea midfielder but Barkley/Pedro seem better value. I think Barkey might be on penalties too.

Suspect Abraham will get the nod to start the first few games, but problem is likely to be with the Chelsea strikers is they will see 60-70 minutes maximum each game. They are a good price, but would avoid personally until it becomes a little clearer.

my advice,

if you're gonna buy a 6.0 keeper then save yourself 0.5 and get a 4.0 backup. you probably want to start him every game and it's not worth rotating him out.

Rodgers is managing Leicester, so even though i like Chilwell, i don't want  leicester defender.

I've got jorginho (i think he's on pens) but get rid of kante.

could probably upgrade kante depending transfers ... greenwodd is a cheap enabler that might start too
I would honestly let Wijnaldum jizz in my face right now

It seems like, they literally dont have anyone else unless they switch another position player. it looks to me like he was being groomed for it anyway but obviously i dont know for sure.

It remains unclear. Begovic lost the faith of Howe last year so he played Boruc who sucked badly so he gave this kid the Travers jersey for the last two games and now they have 4 keepers in camp with Travers and another kid getting more time than the veterans in the PS.

Clear as mud. They play 2 promotion teams first so i'd love the b goalie to start but who?

I’ve tried to have a decent overall squad, with each player a good chance of playing (except Button).

Forwards are a gamble, but getting rid of Kane let me spread the quality around much more.

          Ederson. Button

    TAA  Digne  chilwell  Aarons  Diop

Salah   Richarlison  De Bruyne  Perez  Grealish

          Abraham  Origi  Haller

Aurier and Foyth are both out for the first game so I would imagine Walker-Peters starts, he got 3 assists in under 400 minutes of foootball last season so he might be a good shout for their opener at home to Villa at 5 mil. I am tempted to put him in ahead of Digne because I don’t fancy Everton to keep a clean sheet at Palace. If Spurs don’t replace Trippier, Walker-Peters might be one to watch.

I dont want to brag but i'm pretty sure ive put together the best team ever assembled , I cant post it until kick off though because the whole world will just steal it because it so good and i will never finish first overall, such as this Edwards level team deserves.  ;D

Or its gonna face plant. It could well face plant. My bench is horrible and i need to start a 4.5 goalie.

But not face plant that badly. Because Mo Salah is the Captain and there's no Mancs, so these are major advantages.  ;D

Tricky as ever. As said above, no Mancs is the first policy. Gone for both Mo and Sadio as that guarantees 40+ goals. Only leaves room for one other big money purchase and I’ve gone for Sir Harold. Think he’ll start this season fresher than before and I don’t trust  Guardiola to play Agüero week in week out.

Gone for a defender each from last season’s top 3 and then the rest is made up of hinges and hope for the bests! Feels weird only having one big striking option but think midfield is where a lot of the top scorers tend to come from. In theory should replace one of our two for a top City option but I’m feeling optimistic. :D

Has Pepe played for Arsenal yet? I see he didn’t play aga8nst Arsenal. Maybe not ready for new season?

Also annoying that Wilson isn’t listed yet. I get that they are waiting to see where he ends up, but that takes some of strategy and risk on their part out of it. Feels like they’re cheating a bit by waiting.

If he stays at LFC he’ll be about 5.5 I’d say. At Bournemouth he’ll be 6.5 or 7.

Switched it up

                Schmeichel

     Wan-Bissaka   Stones         Boly

De Bruyne    Barkley    Perez     Sterling

      Aubamayang   Kane      Jota

Really happy with that.
