Decided against it. Got 10/11 players playing today so just going to stick with Salah as normal captain (as I have most of the season).

Will use my free hit to put some United ( :()and City players in next week, which means they’ll be out for the week after when United don’t play. Then I’ll use my wildcard for the other double game week.

Leaves my triple captain for Salah vs Hudds at home...

Managed to cobble together 9 players today thanks to super subs Boruc and Puncheon!

Can’t help think I should have used my one transfer on a West Ham defender but they’re such a weird side they’ll probably roll over at home for Huddersfield.

Probably, I've transferred in Fabianksi, Diop and Rice given Huddersfield struggles in scoring goals, would be just like West Ham to concede three!

Get Mounie and Delpoitre in too, just to cover yourself. :D

I went for Pereira of Leicester in the end.

Did this last year. Was only 4 games and it was my highest score all season. The week Salah scored four

Haha, I did have some reservations about trusting West Ham's defence ; looks like many in my league implemented the Huddersfield Away Theory and got burned with me.

Turns out my 15 points on Saturday was a good effort. Just look at the results: no clean sheets, goals from the likes of Grant, Bacuna, Morgan and Ogbonna?!? At least I had Maddison, and the only decision I can reasonably regret is going with Wilson over King, but again, I was in the vast majority with that thinking.

So after all my strategising, nearly all my points this week came from Mane and Maddison, who have been in my squad for ages. All my free hit recruits scored 1 or 2 appearance points each. Captain Mo did SFA.

Was never in doubt, really. Told ypu all I'd be back here whinging about it. :)

Up to 25th in the RAWK league, top of pretty much all my others.

Enjoying a good season, although my best two players from Week 1 were the cock-up brothers for Liverpool on Sunday!
Sadio did his bit though.

Anyone thinking of using their triple captain chip next GW? Potentially for Spurs or United players? Maybe Kane (away to Liverpool, home to Palace) or Rashfors (home to Watford, away to Wolves)..? Or a Wolves player?

Or are you saving them for City’s DGWs? They might have Cardiff away and Leicester at home in the same GW? Is that likely to fall foul to Pep’s rotation though? The other one is home to Spurs and away to United...? Hmm.

I’m saving it for Salah (or Mane) at home vs Huddersfield.

Can’t see Kane getting much against us personally. Also I’m probably going to use my free hit one DGW and my wildcard the other so I can load up on players playing two games so can’t use my triple captain those weeks too.

Every year I get burned because I overestimate the value of double gameweeks. Always best to triple captain an in-form goalscorer. Last year I was this close to using it on Mo before THAT Watford game, this year to Kane in a match where he scored a brace, only to wimp out and save it for a dud double fixture. Never again! (until next season)

switched my captain from mane to vardy late doors

cost a few points and had a lot left on the bench due to the free hit. 52 was still a decent score though

Pretty cheeky of the PL doing their reschedule at such short notice. I guess FL has its own algorithm but it makes more sense to count those Wednesday games towards week 33, which only has 6. Real tricky one to manage, this. I only have the bench boost left to play, but TAA is my only bench player who seems likely to score much, and I don't want to recruit a bunch of doubles and be left bare in W33. Might have to keep that bench boost and hope for a nice set of fixtures near season's end.

there is another double week towards the end

4 teams playing twice

my usual tactic is wildcard week before then bench boost the double week. i cant do that now with this week but can for that week

be a triple captain this week

its in the fixtures tab now and updated

my tactic next game week is a triple captain (possibly aguero) then the week before the april 23/24 one i will wildcard and stock up on double gamers for april 23/24 which will then be a bench boost

worth noting you cant use two chips in one gameweek

Are you confident Aguero won't be rested/rotated? If City are 2/3-0 up on 60 mins there is every chance he doesn't see out the game, even if he hasn't scored :/

Wish i still had my free hit and wildcard chips

Used my Free Hit last week so pack my team with some of the players from the few clubs playing.

Using the triple captain this week and I have a 9 out 11 players with double games this week, the two no with the double games are our lads.
I watched a YouTube video and decided that Paul Konchesky looked like a player.

I did think Sterling played a lot over the International week and maybe would be subject to rotation but I think he has gone up such a level that he is almost undroppable.

But the 'being 2/3-0 up on 60 minutes and getting the hook' worry still looms large. :/

Not at all sure what to do. I have Sane but might swap for Sterling or Aguero.
