I say this purely out of the best interest for Danny Ings and the great club of Southampton but I'd be thrilled if they kept him on the bench all day today. There's just no need to bring him on at 4-0 down in the 70th minute so I can get one point.

56 for me with two clean sheets on the bench. Would have had more had I remembered to change the team and captain. The whole Duffy/Dunk thing really annoying me now! Had Duffy til his red so sold him for Dunk who also got a red. Only a one game ban for him so kept him rather than buy back Duffy who them scored again the other night. Hope we stick 5 past them again next week.

Got rid of Pogba and Andy Carroll (was sure he would play when Arnautovic got injured - doh) for Vardy and Camarasa. Not sure why I have done that. I think I now have some drive to have as few of the high ownership players as possible.

Made some bad transfers of late. Sold Anderson just before he started scoring, bought him back a couple of games ago and he’s gone quiet again. Sold Ederson for Kepa last week as thought Chelsea were nailed on for a clean sheet. Also bought Trent so will need to replace him too.

Callum Wilson has also gone quiet - who’s the most in form of those lower tier price strikers at the moment?

Not sure if there are any. Jimenez has been fairly consistent all season. Never going to get you 12 points but you can usually count on him getting a 4/5 every week.

I did Wildcard it.

Kept hold of Salah (C), Rashford, Fabianski, Wan Bissaka, Boruc and Bednarek and brought in Doherty, VVD, Hazard, Rondon, Bobby, Laporte, Lamela and Sane.

Worked out well so far. Have 49 points before bonus points and my closest rivals are done for the GW and worst case scenario I am level on points with them without Laporte, Lamela and Sane playing.
