Seems like the right place to stick on a day like this and to remind us what it is to be a Liverpool fan. The club seems like it starting to lose it, But WE should never.

Can't believe it's been 7 years. And  I didn't realised they lifted the trophy towards a rather empty stand shown in that 3rd video.
Ahh, pressing refresh and waiting for news... just like the bad old days.

Liverpool porn, this.

Was the most amazing (4) days of my life, thankyou Rafa.

I'll never forget the feeling of wanting to be with my Dad at the final whistle, I had my boy with me and just felt we all needed to be together to witness Stevie G lift the cup, dad was in the stand opposite and in the whole time he was in Istanbul (one day) we couldnt get him on the phone to meet up..... hopefully when we lift Number 6 we'll all be together.

That might be the most fantastic day in my whole life!
I arrived in Paris just 53 minutes before the match and I didn't have any clue where I could watch it.I went to the apartment I rented and found there was no TV nor Internet and I only got less than 5 minutes! So I  shouted outside the building asking whether anyone can help.Luckily an Italian couple opened their door for me.They supported Juve and they told me they hadn't decide which side they'd support but as I was there they finally decided to support Liverpool.Besides they felt better if they had just been beaten by the best team.
Then everything went crazy.
I cried during halftime and the wife gave me some homemade cookies to cheer me up.I heard YNWA when the 2nd half started so I jumped up from the sofa and sang with the TV.Then Stevie scored, and I started to sing every kop chant I knew. Then Smicer. Then Alonso. Then the incredible save by Dudek.
Miracle!
can't belive it's been 7 years already!still feels like it was yesterday!
Thank you Rafa!
YNWA!

BTW I was born at almost the same time as we got our 5th in Rome, according to my grandfather,he was in the hospital with a radio and when he heard the final whistle a nurse went out to tell him that his 1st grandchild was born.My grandfather is still happy and healthy hope he can witness our 6th as well as our 19th with me!!

We won our 1st European Cup in 1977 on May 25th so it's a bit disrespectful to call it "Istanbul Day",which if I'm not mistaken was a name put on it by the official website trying to flog a load of crap merchandise each year.

Probably my most bi-polar experience as a football supporter... from my sheer dejected silence as Crespo classily chipped Milan's 3rd in; the shared feelings of resignation during halftime, masked by a defiant spirit of "come on lads, win us back some pride, make it seem a heroic failure at least"; the rumblings of something big just maybe about to go down when Gerrard commanded that header to go in; that feeling of ecstatic disbelief after Smicer's Smasher and Xabi's mental penalty drama scene... and so on.

Wouldn't give those memories up for the whole world. Or the memories of the parade. Mad times, good times. :D

Still the best night of my life.
I remember years ago doing the fart with your fingers pointed like a gun.

I did it to my brother, I had a dressing gown on.

Instead of farting I shat on the floor - my brother thought I was demented.
