I got Covenant and Poseidon off the kodil repo (kodilIsrael) has shit loads of stuff on there. http://kdil.co/repo/

Covenant had the xvbmc option as well that didn't work on SPMC either but didn't try it on Kodi due to the kodil option working.

It is not one that I would have on my system,in fact I removed it during this years first exodus when they started sending out dodgy updates to add-ons that they had no business trying to update.

For the record I still have both Poseidon & Covenant but I turned updates off.

If you want an updated version of Poseidon then you should get Neptune Rising,Blamo took Poseidon off Soulless on the understanding that he would change the name.

Was bit worried myself because I remembered that hassle with kodi Israel before when we had to delete the repo etc. I'm sure that was just a one off though, worth the risk imo as it's a top repo.

Interesting. Well XBMC started out on Xbox anyway so, kinda come full circle.

Hardly used my Xbox but being able to stream the sport through it using an iptv app and now kodi too. Will be seeing alot more action

No vpn. I've only watched a couple of games so far no 3pm's like today but it's worked fine. I have that GSE app on my phone too using opera vpn if it fucks up.

OK so been using Exodus (via Kodi) on my Fire stick for a while, and whilst the amount of streams for most movies/shows had dropped (certainly HD streams) it was still pretty good. Seems to have gone totally to shit now though.

kodi works on computers if you want that. Streaming sites I dont trust really unless its on my phone.

I've got Kodi mate. Was someone else that asked and I wasn't sure. Putting 'show box desktop' into Google brings various different sites so wasn't sure if they're safe or not.

On Neptune Rising you want to use the what the fork?  section. Other add-ons like Exodus are DeathStreams,Elysium,Supremacy,MaverickTV,Bob unleashed,Elektra Vault,The Pyramid and Placenta

I've just got an Nvidia shield and having a tough time getting terrarium on there. Worked on my firetvstick easy but ran like shit. It keeps asking me to put the code in on firedl and the codes won't work.

Not really used Kodi for a while now.. prob 2 months or so, mainly tv shows(US real crime, mens stuff-Cars shit) sport (not movies)..
tried it other night cant get shit to stream ?
have it linked to my 'Real-dbrid' account... got the usual, maverick,elysium,covenant, Bob etc...
do u think i should uninstall Kodi & just do a fresh install ?... i know a lot of Repo's get killed off ..
I have it on PC... your thoughts most welcome.. usually download but BOLT.cd looks dead, offline ?

Can anyone give me a reason as to why I should change from Kodi to Perfect Player/STB/SmartIptv.  I basically use Terrarium for movies and TV shows and have no problems at all with it, but use Fless through Kodi. I have an old fire stick, a 2nd gen fire stick, and a fire Tv dotted around the house.

I have the odd problem with stuttering and buffering on Fless when watching sports but overall its not too bad. But a lot of people on the support pages seem to be given the advice of changing from Kodi as a solution to basically most problems.

I was gonna try SmartIpTV but found out you have to pay for it so didnt bother.

Is it really worth switching to a different interface as I'm struggling to see the benefits really.

I run FL on Perfect Player and find it more stable than running through Kodi using On Tapp. Plus you get the catch up.

Easy to set up, just run the generator site to get your MU3 and EPG urls, put them into the settings in PP and let it update. I have my TV categories set up in folders to save scrolling through pages of categories, just click back from current choice to the folders.

If you go to "what the Fork" there is a Trending option which is pretty much the same as "people are watching"

I've ordered an android box and it is waiting for me at home when I finish work. Looking forward to getting it set up but I have no idea what I'm doing!!

There's some great tips in this thread already and most of it will be trial and error until I get used to it myself. But I do have some, no doubt rookie, questions.

Should I use a VPN? Which ones do you recommend? Will one used in UK work as well here in Thailand?

What is the easiest way to get Skyports or Bein sports for the football? I don't mind paying to subscribe to something reliable for sport.

easiest way to set kodi up if you're new to it is with a build.
kodi is fine for tv shows movies etc but i never use it now for anything live.

best bet for reliable live sports is stbemu app and an iptv subscription.
