Sorry, I've messed this up a bit, as I hadn't checked that the picks were okay. The player's from teams knocked out are no available to pick so the Ribery and Zenga picks are invalid, as are any picks linked to those picks.

So, as it stands, I think the best thing to do is say that all picks selected from Wullie's onwards are invalid and will be ignored as they all link back to that pick and would not have been possible without it.

Okay, take 2

Category switch: Albertini Cat. 6 Academy to Cat. 13 top 25 Club appearances

In: Cat. 12 Chiellini, Out: Cat. 12 Buffon

In: Cat. 6 Toldo, Out: Cat 10. Totti

In: Cat. 10 Zambrotta, Out: Cat. 7 Tassotti

I think that's as good as I can get for now -

Fucking hell that'll take some scoring against. Always loved Kohler. Would he be good in a 3? Maybe. Boss defender to be sure. And Samuel. For two seasons he was best in the world. Fantastic player and so underrated. I know, I've said it many times before...so, after this tournament,...

Surprised you didn’t try argue Bobby Moore’s triumph in the 1982 European Masters should count! :P

 :lmao

What a player btw. One of the best I watched. Only Virgil, at his best, was close in this country. While in Italy...

And Beckenbauer of course

Delighted with not finishing bottom of my group.  Though I dunno if it really counts with only finishing above Samie.

I won my first two and wrongly thought I might have a half decent team. Was just the luck of the draw to face your two turds first.

Have a go at mine, BB. Me heads chokah. I thought I was out  :rash Got to get me head back in the game. But how?

Ah, would have helped you had I seen this is time. I already noted Modric and Ronaldo could be switched to categories 13 and 14, which would have got you Lewa up front instead of big nose. If you make it through you can always give me a shout again.

So in the Semi Finals we have a repeat of the Group A round 2 matches. Let's see how much the changes to the teams have impacted things since then!

I really enjoyed the draft but Ronaldo had such a weird career was injured for so many finals for his clubs for example.

Once I missed Thiago Silva I knew I couldn't build the team I wanted.

This was my original target with the first 11 cats;

Neymar - Rivaldo

Zico - Didi

Falcão - G.Silva

R.Carlos - Luizinho - T.Silva - Cafu

Dida

Thanks for all your hard work running this one, Mikey! Nice to have some fresh draft ideas in the mix  :)

I think next time we should ALL have to pick someone slightly shit, just to give a different type of challenge.

Had anyone thought about who the best link player would have been with the original 11 categories.

I'd guess someone from Barca's academy - Messi, Xavi, or Iniesta - would have been very strong as you'd make the tricky academy and debut season picks pretty easy.

Cheers mikey for a top draft. Well done everyone some really cracking draft sides in this one. Robbie’s was instantly a favoriete, Gullit always a strong pick. Thought Nicholls had too many gods in his team to not win it even if at the back was a bit too attacking to begin with but the tweaks were bang on. Well done. My downfall was only prepping for 20 minutes to pick my inspiration.
