Time for me to admit that I don't understand what Old Nick's cave is about. I'm familiar with the area, which for all of my youth was fenced off I think, but I don't know any background at all guys.

As a kid we'd go to Garston Baths and the chippy next door but never ventured under the Bridge.Rumour was there were rockers and Teddy Boys there with bicycle chains and flick knives.
Garston baths used to put boards across the pool and hold dances there. There was always murder with the Teddy boys and they were known as "Garston Blood Baths".
