.^ after the original reddit soccerstreams was banned (and the successors of it as other similarly named other reddit subs were banned too)...
...it seems they decided to split into differing groups - some operating as websites, others as forums, discords, other reddits, or blogs etc - all carrying on as before.
So, instead of one major group providing streams - there were now 5/6 differing groups. And then further offshoots began of those 5/6 groups. So, soon there was soon 15-20 decent and reliable groups linked to the old soccerstream reddit
(as well as some people simply claiming to be / promoting themselves as the old reddit soccerstreams)'.
In effect take one 'site' down - six more appear, take those six new sites down - and multiples more appear. The authorities know it, the 'streambuster' groups know it too.
^ This makes if far more difficult for the authorities and 'streambuster groups' to attempt to take these sites down. Even stricter laws, longer sentences, heavier fines... all have had negligible effect on the number of streams available today.
If anything, there are more quality streams out there now than ever before - and that's streams competing against VPN workaround for legitimate online subscriptions, or 'dodgy boxes', IPTV services, and firesticks etc.
Yet still... the likes of SKY, BT, Amazon and legit providers around the world
increase prices (as they lose footy content to other subscription competitors - or even 'free' tv such as BBC, ITV & Ch4).
Or, in the UK change their archaic 'no live footy on Saturday 3pm' rules etc, or provide content the customer actually wants
(choice of commentator - or crowd noise option. They'd rather try the old trick of and link streamers to organised crime instead - or deflect away from why so many people are using streams instead of subscribing to their "
believe in better = pay more for less" shockingly overpriced and agenda-driven 'clickbait'-filled subscription services.
Long live the streamers
(steps down from soapbox)
