Can't believe Paisley park got up to challenge second place. Thought he was done halfway

That’s just how he runs isn’t it.

Flooring Porter very good again, bet they don’t interview the owner again though

Excellent ride there on Flooring Porter, the way he set the pace, then gave the horse a rest before the finish.

Was all over Bob Olinger (luckily) and thought he was a monster but GDC put him in his place in a big way! Never out of second gear and had Bob rattled big time. Someone said it already but he should be heading straight to the gold cup in what is a weak division and cleaning up for the next few years. Breathtaking performance if he had the landing gear out at the last.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

Today's racing is objectively a nightmare trying to pick anything  ;D

I have Minella Indo for the Gold Cup in the competition but I think Royalle Pagaille and Chantry House have a shot of an upset.

Cousin Pascal is arguably worth a small punt at 4:10 as well but we're firmly in 'your guess is as good as mine' territory!

This doesn't seem a vintage Gold Cup but I think Galvin is improving still and will relish the hill. Perhaps he doesn't have the pure class as one or two others but I think if he's there 3 out within striking distance he will run on best.

Fuck sake thought it would be. They don’t get many of these pushes wrong

But Vauban seems strongly supported, and Patrick Mullins was very sure he’s better than Pied Piper

What an engine Vauban has. Keen, wide, didn't jump, made a mess of the last and then still accelerated away. Serious animal.

No way did i think Billaway was going to get up there, i left it alone after backing it the last 2 years unsuccessfully.

Bookies would have been praying for the line to come.

Japan are dominating out in Dubai. The balance of power in racing is definitely shifting. There’s no doubt about that.

Probably the worse race to bet on, but we all still do. Has anyone looked at The National yet? Delta work looks good value at around 10/1 after his performance at Cheltenham. Surely he'll be backed in from that next week.

Haven’t had a proper look yet, but he’s likely to be one of the top weights and will carry more than Tiger Roll did on his second win. Not beyond him as he’s a classy horse on his day, might want softer conditions, not sure what the weathers meant to be in the build up, but you can certainly see him being backed off the back of Cheltenham.

I think there is quite a bit of rain forecast for next week, although we have had a rather mild and dry spell. It will probably be on the softer side of good if the forecast is anywhere near accurate.

I heard a good word for Deise Aba the other day, connections were convinced of a bold showing assuming he got in which he now will.

WOW! Watching racing more years than I care to remember and cant see any reason for that result to be revised. Knight Salute's jockey clearly understood what had happened yet the stewards ignored his evidence. What's the point in talking to the jockeys if you aren't going to listen to them. They are the professionals after all.

A few pages back someone put up Farclas as a fancy for the Cross Country at Cheltenham. Ultimately didn’t end up going there but could see him running a big race in the Irish National today

Just the 6000/1 double for McLoughlin over the last couple of years. Couldn’t have backed either based on form but that’s horse racing. Galopin Des Champs won as we thought the other day. Going off 2/11 in a grade 1 said it all. Can’t wait to see the gold cup next year.

Duv, anything for me to worry about with a Sir Gerhard & Energumene double tomorrow? Worried about Bob Olinger after Cheltenham otherwise it would be a treble.

Probably not, but I’m always a little dubious after Cheltenham and this late in the season, don’t often have a bet at Punchestown. Dysart Dynamo was running a decent race until he came down at Cheltenham, wouldn’t have beaten Constitution Hill but over two miles might put up a decent challenge to Sir Gerhard. Chacun Pour Soi always seems about a stone better in Ireland but Energumene should win Id have thought.
But don’t ask me think you beat me in both comps :)

Thanks probably more to do with me being a favourite backer :) I know what you mean after Cheltenham, alot flattered to deceive at Aintree.
